Demarcus Cousins: 14 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 5-15 FG

He's a far worse passer and they run the offense through him.. right, cause that makes sense. Monroe is a very good passer for a big man, but to say Cousins isn't is just stupid, because he really is. They run him similarly to how they did C-Webb. At the free throw line extended, with pick and rolls.
If you wanna go on head-to-head matchups why don't we bring up the last time they played then, before wednesday?
Cousins - 26 points, 16 rebounds, 1 ast, 1 block (11-19)
Monroe - 3 pts, 8 rebounds, 2 asts on 1-7 shooting in 33 minutes of playing time, MORE than what Cousins played.
Oh yeah, what a stud.

And yet he managed to help the Pistons win both times, despite the fact that the Kings have considerably more talent. Keep making excuses though, I'll take the actual Chris Webber clone over the world's least efficient big man. And I do like your consistent lack of addressing his inefficiency, other than "OH IT WAS HIS COACH" or "OH HE'S BEING TOLD TO DO IT." Dude is just not efficient and never will be, unlike Monroe.

I don't address efficiency because it's stupid. So many different things factor into that "rating". I'd rather watch the actual games and assess talent the old fashioned way than to try to make everything into a number so nerds with a little too much time on their hands can cite a statistic for every argument imaginable.
If you want a fade away, jump shooting big man that can pass, take Monroe. If you want a powerful post scorer that can rebound with the same efficiency that Kevin Love and Dwight Howard have, and can defend the post, then take Cousins. They're two different kinds of players. But of course you don't know that because STATZ R EVERYTHING!111

Yes, it takes so long to look at the fact that Demarcus Cousins' shooting percentage is ******* horrific for a big man. There's no advance stat in that, he just is not efficient at all. Powerful post scorers don't shoot 44 percent.

Kevin Love shoots .444% compared to Cousins' .439
INEFFECIENT BIG MAN!!!!!1111one
On offense they play similar positions, except Love steps back a lot to shoot the three instead of driving to the hole.

HUGE difference, HUGE. Love is a shooter who has long distance range, while Cousins is supposed to be a post banger. Horrifically stupid comparison, but not really unexpected of you.

They're both PFs in similar offenses. But okay, different players, right? Is it almost as idiotic as you comparing a jump shooting PF to a C?

Also, for what it's worth, the "efficiency" number nba.com has on each profile is 21.02 for Monroe and 19.02 for Cousins. Don't know how it's calculated but it doesn't seem to be a huge difference. So shut the **** up already.

If Cousins shot as many threes as Love he would be shooting 35%.

That's an entirely different number, which is calculated based on a variety of things (which includes rebounds). Cousins being a really, really good rebounder helps him in efficiency.

I'm not sure if i did this correct cause i kinda did it in a hurry, but if you take away all of Love's 3PA's and makes, he shoots 42% from the floor.
bad math.

47.6 percent actually, so zero idea how you got that.

Arguing with MS about Cousins is pointless.

Shoddy math. Told you i didn't it in a hurry. Either way, 47% isn't all that efficient either, and not impressive at all for a big man.

It's the same with vampire boy over there and Monroe. He instigated the discussion anyway, constantly trolling about two totally different players.

I accept Monroe's flaws. He's still a bit slow on defense and is just starting to get better at defending centers, he isn't forceful enough on offense, and he has spurts where he can be stopped. You are constantly defending Cousins against the fact that he is insanely inefficient, which he absolutely is.

47% is fine for a big man that takes a lot of jumpers/long 2's.

lol, the hilarious part is that in two different posts on this page you mention how i NEVER address the efficiency issue (and i continue to mention how i don't give a **** about your efficiency numbers), and now you're accusing me of CONSTANTLY defending his flaw in efficiency. Now that's cute.
I know that he needs to improve his ability to put the ball in the hole off a rebound on the first try. It doesn't take away from the fact that he rebounds with the best of them and defends the paint really well for not being an overly mobile/athletic guy.

Knicks playing awesome defense yet again. Sixers missing some open shots, but still.
