lol, good find. I completely forgot about that. got some interesting google returns from that...here's the bio of fornax for nonplayers.
Quote:
Launched in 2167, the human-published magazine presents the galaxy with raunchy pictures of models from various races. With a predominance of unisexual asari models the publication also depicts both male and female quarians, drell, batarians, volus, and according to the in-game issue cover, hanar.
By its fifth year Fornax became the first human magazine to offer full five-sensory stimulation.
It has a monthly publishing of 127 million and is available both in hard-copy and for direct download. Specialty editions such as Genit-elcor and Krogasm service devoted but smaller markets.

Did you see the ending video I posted? The one not in spoiler?
Yeah but I don't quite see or understand what that has to do with anything. He was a terribly weak marauder because the heavy pistols in the game definitely don't kill those guys in two shots....

thats the point! When you see how the game ends that Marauder was the LAST enemy you face. He was the final boss and you just take him out with 2 shots. The stuff about him training for that day was just funny

Heh. One of the funnier things I've read about the ending.

Wait a minute! If the Reapers had a contraption powered by SPACE MAGIC!™ that can kill all synthetics in the galaxy, why do they even need to kill organics to prevent organics from creating synthetics that kills organics?
Why not just hand the organic civilizations a copy of that contraption with "IN CASE OF GENOCIDAL AI UPRISING: BREAK THE GLASS" written on it? It would solve all problems without killing any organics in the process.

First off, did anybody have an issue during the final speech with The Illusive Man where you couldn't choose the final renegade option? I'm full renegade and it wouldn't allow me to choose that option. Well I wasn't as enraged as you are with the ending, but I'm certainly not pleased. The catalysts' argument was ******* stupid. You're killing organics so they don't create synthetics because they will kill organics. That's beyond ********. Wasn't a fan of some little kid being the catalyst.
I was fine with Shepard dying, but it's kinda stupid that regardless of which of the three you choose all mass relays are destroyed. I also wish we found out what happened with the people back on Earth. I really liked your ideas BB. I would have loved to have something wrap up what happened with each of the characters at the finale. Them landing on the planet and it just ending there was a little silly. Hopefully the DLC fixes this.

Yeah, I was full Paragon my first time through and didn't get the final options with him.
I THINK...and this is just a guess, maybe someone can prove me wrong...that option has something to do with maxing out your "readiness level" via multiplayer. It might be the option to "save Anderson" which is supposedly possible. My only guess though...
And you seem to have the feelings most people have. Lack of closure with all of the characters you went through the game with and just how screwed the galaxy is without the relays. I don't even know how they fix that with DLC barring a full blown ending retcon. That wouldn't be a bad thing, but it just makes the actual ending all the more confusing.
i assume it took the form of a kid because of the repeated dream sequences with that same kid dying in all of them. sort of a projection of what it thought would be a sympathetic character. so i didn't mind that so much as the fact that it was happening at all.
Heh. One of the funnier things I've read about the ending.
The "SPACE MAGIC" contraption destroys itself, the reapers, and the catalyst(assumption). The organics could only use the safety device once and after that they're screwed.
I like the story of the reapers wiping out more advanced civilizations. Organics create chaos, and the reapers, who represent order, balance that out for the organic's own sake. They kill organics civilizations that would inevitably **** up the universe so future civilizations can grow and live. All while sustaining themselves with the civilizations they harvest, almost like a symbiotic relationship. It reminds me of one of my favorite anime's, Tengen Toppen Gurren Laggan, except the spirals were held down because of their power.
The only part I dislike (because I may be confused) is, the catalyst created the reapers, the reapers created the citadel, and the citadel is apart of the catalyst. Huh? Or am I just confusing the timeline and/or accuracy of some statements and the reapers really didn't create the citadel?
I chose the final renegade option, fully maxed out on rep but i was like 75% renegade, 25% paragon.

I know what they were going for, but it just wasn't done well. Too vague, no closure, no real explanation...everything you did for the rest of the galaxy was for naught. On a scale of 0-10, with the Reapers wiping out all organic life once again being a 0, the actual ending was like a 1. Maybe a .5. Not everybody died, which is good, but...the galactic civilization you worked so hard through 3 games to keep going is now gone as we know it.
And you're not any more confused than everyone else. Why, if the Catalyst controlled the Reapers and "lived" in the Citadel, did Sovereign need Saren to use the back door to activate it? That has a good number of people stumped with the best explanations rather "meh."
I killed the illusive man with RT and i guess "saved" Anderson, but he died anyways looking out the window. I think everyone is looking for a happy ending, basic human nature and they throw a curve ball something unexpected and it upsets everyone. You would think great minds like us would like that its not predictable but i guess not. The only thing they can do is show a video of whats happening on earth.
Still think them landing on the planet was stupid, Garius how the F did you escape?

And either Garrus and Tali or everyone else is going to starve to death on that planet too. Turians and Quarians are made up of a different amino acid than humans and the others.
Why did they leave Shepard!? I don't get it! I think Garrus would have died just to recover Shepard's body if nothing else. Much less leave without even knowing if he's dead or alive.

I picked to control them and Shep's body disengrated
**** if you side with the salarians and don't cure the genophage then you get both the support of krogan and salarian but then Wrex finds out and you have to kill him. Why can't I have both?????????????
