The guy said he didn't buy the Niners being so high because... Alex Smith.
Alex Smith started every game and they went 13-3. Alex Smith had a lot to do with the win over the Saints. +30 yard TD run with a couple minutes left and then the perfect TD pass to Davis with 0:09 left in the game.
Alex Smith should be much better this year with having the same coordinator for a 2nd season for the first time in his career. Plus a full offseason with Harbaugh.
