It never looks like that on the field though. Look at the real pictures of Witten in the uniform. It is pretty much the same exact thing, the numbers look a bit bolder.
That picture is just done up with a ton of effects. It's like when they do those pictures with the Oregon uniforms, they never look that weird and superficial in real life, it's just an enhanced picture.

The numbers look a bit different but it's really the same thing. It does look better I guess though, I like the sharpness of it.
Oh and the little nike swoosh under the numbers on the shoulder looks terrible No idea how that got approved. No flow with the jersey at all.

Ha, btw they do still have the stripe on the side of the pants. Speaking of the pants, did you guys ever wonder what color they are? I know it's suppose to be silver but don't they kind of look green? It's really a weird color when you look closely at it.

Brandon Carr has been working out on the left side according to ESPN Dallas. Makes the most sense because he can actually work at it this off-season, Jenkins most be able to run and cut full speed with his shoulder until at least mid June.

Sean Lee talking about Bruce Carter:
Quote:
|
"He looks great," Lee said. "We've been working out together at the facility. The knee isn't an issue. I think he's ready to go. I think he did a great job coming off a knee injury and transitioning to the NFL. He's very talented. We need him to step up for us, and I think he understands that. I think he's going to put the work in. It's a matter of time until he becomes a very good football player."

The home pants, according to the Dallas Cowboys official media guide, are a common metallic silver-blue color (PMS 8280 C) that help bring out the blue in the uniform.

Good to hear. Major expectations for him next season. He should have expectations of a 1st round pick since that's what everyone said he was valued at had he not been injured. So I'm looking forward to that type of production from him, and I don't think that's unfair to ask. Hoping he turns into a Pro Bowl caliber player.

Wouldn't it be something to have two starting ILBs who we had graded out as first round picks, starting for us as second round picks? That'd be awesome.

Funny thing is... Dan Connor fell in the draft because of injury too! :)

Out of curiosity, if there was another Cowboys forum I wanted to start posting at, which one would you suggest?

"Why is no one talking about OT Depth"
"Why don't we like Melvin Ingram, again?"
"Unique NE-Dal Trade"
"What about Travis Benjamin?"
..and there's a ton of individual mocks too. egh.
Do you go by pocketaces over there too?

I don't really see the point in joining another board. I do my research and get all my news online, and if I feel like posting this site is find.
Anyway, I didn't know that Roscoe Parrish was a free agent all this time. He was just signed by the Chargers. I know that says something about what the league thinks of him, but I would've love him as our #3 WR and return man. He's a veteran with plenty of quick twitch in him. Probably signed for close to the minimum too.

I've felt the same way all these years, but I KNOW a lot of the guys here go elsewhere too, so I was curious where they were going and if it was worthwhile.
Parrish? Can't say I'd be mad or thrilled. Just a meh signing I guess.

Nah, I think BTB might be where only the cool kids hang out. LOL. I think that Quincyyyyyyyyy kid who argued with me that the 2009 draft was such a great one, when I was literally steaming mad on draft day, killed my opinion of those guys.
To their credit, I think they've come a long ways in the last 3 years with the articles they post. Seem to have some good sources from those guys at least, and some nice breakdowns.
I thought they only had comment threads at the end of thier articles...not a real forum board.

Be nice to have 1st/2nd/3rd rounder actually play the part for once on this team instead of flaming out like a trash can fire in Crenshaw..

This one is excellent for news on all things Cowboys but I'm not a huge fan of posting there. A lot of homers and it can get a little hostile if you don't follow the crowd.
