Well, now we know how Rose hurt his groin...
Also, Rose is in a walking boot after hurting his ankle vs. Los Knickerbockers. Hooray.

Given his style of play, it was probably only a matter of time.
But up until this year he has been pretty reliable. Missed only 6 games in 3 years.

I don't follow the NBA, but as a technical Bobcats fan(meaning if they ever do good I'll bandwagon, otherwise I don't care), but after watching the ESPN clips of the Bobcats-Wizards game, why are the team even allowed to play in the NBA? Can't some sort of mercy rule be put into effect?

I really hope the Knicks do work in the playoffs this year. I'm gonna come in here and take the biggest dump on this thread. They'd have to ban me for a week or something.
Can't wait.

Awesome. It's not like this was one of the only threads left on this forum with rational discussion or anything.

If we keep ignoring his posts, eventually he'll go away. I will not let the nba thread go down the same path as the rest of this forum.

Kings currently have 5th pick before the lottery, potentially can get to 4 if we keep losings the Cavs win a few games. I hate seeing my time lose, but if it means it gives us a better chances to get Davis/Robinson/MKG then screw it. Thorton should sit a few more games to get "healthy" since there isn't any point in going out there and having the chances to hurt his calf again in the final games this season. The Kings need to get the lottery gods on our side this season, winning the lottery to get Davis could push the arena to be built with the promise of him and Cousins down low.

No because they still have to beat Miami on Thursday for their 8th and final win of the season. Also so that I can keep posting on facebook about how much "charlotte sucks" without my sister being able to get mad about it.

The master of panic? The guy that keeps alienating his team, and ends up hated wherever he goes? I don't think so.

It's dumb to tank, they need to create buzz right now, not in three months after the draft. They just need to get lucky, that's all. Even if they had the best odds, they may not win the lottery. Screw losing.

Tier 1 is Popovich by himself (although Thibs is going to be there soon), then the rest. He can be with the rest.

I'd include Adleman, D'Antoni, Carlisle and Rivers in a tier above the rest with Thibs leading the pack. There's some really clueless coaches in the NBA. At least those guys can draw up a play during a timeout that'll actually get a good look. That's a lot more than a lot of coaches can say.

*shrug* I know a lot of people dislike Mike D, but that's not one thing you can get on him about. His ability to get along with players that don't play "his way" and his ability to scheme defenses, are legit, but the man gets you open looks from players you don't mind taking those shots more often than not. Which for an NBA coach makes you pretty damn good.

Watching LeBron get a foul call on a play that he takes 4 consecutive steps makes me sad.

Out of a timeout, feed Melo and clear out isn't a good set play?
