Not really. Vitt coaches the team the whole time besides the first 6 weeks of the season. Nothing complicated about it at all.

It's still more complicated than simply letting a guy who can coach all 16 games coach all 16 games.

Filmmaker/author Alan Donnes said Tuesday on America's Radio News Network that former Saints defensive quality control coach Mike Cerullo was a whistleblower to the NFL about the the Saints bounty program. Donnes described Cerullo as a disgruntled former employee who couldn't find work after being let go after the 2009 season. Donnes said Cerullo believed Sean Payton and Gregg Williams blocked Cerullo from getting a job in the NFL. Cerullo is currently a football program aide at Connecticut.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Louisiana was told Friday that New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis had an electronic device in his Superdome suite that had been secretly re-wired to enable him to eavesdrop on visiting coaching staffs for nearly three NFL seasons
Jim Letten, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana, acknowledged being told of the allegations Friday and has briefed the FBI in New Orleans about Loomis' alleged activity, according to sources.

That's exactly it. When you get digging around in an organization for one thing, a bunch of others start coming out of the woodwork.

They missed the playoffs from 02-04 so it isn't like it helped them much anyway. Still, what a classless organizaion.

Why didn't the suspension of Loomis start immediately. I know he was suspended for eight games but that suspension looks kind of weak if you allow him to participate in Free Agency, the draft, and the final cuts to get the roster to 53.
