Thrilled with that swap. Spielman's crazy routine worked.

Good swap for you guys.. I am certainly glad that the Bucs didn't give it up.

Smart decision on the Brown part. Richardson is the only way for them to go.

Great trade for the Vikings. Get free picks and still get who they would have taken at 3.

Honestly, it has worked out as well as it possibly could. Add another quality pick plus a later rounder and still has their choice of the top guys on their board.

Nice trade for Minnesota. Trent Richardson is going to look sexy in Cleveland though.
So is it....
1. Andrew Luck
2. RG3
3. Trent
4. Kalil
5. Morris
?

They needed to do it to grab Trent. Bucs were going to make an offer too.
I think this solves the whole Top 5 dilemma, can't see Vikings and Bucs passing on Kalil and Claiborne.

Great deal for the Vikings for sure. They get three more picks for moving down one spot, and they can still get the guy they want at #4. Cleveland were afraid that Tampa would move up and take Richardson, so the probably felt they didn't have a choice. Richardson should do very well in Cleveland, so this will be good for both teams. But the Vikings are the winner of the day so far.

He'll think he's facing LSU there when they stack the box against him. No threat of the pass really.

Great job by both teams. Minnesota gains extra pick and still will get the player they want, the Browns block the Bucs from stealing their guy. Perfect trade that helps both teams, I like it. Richardson is going to be a freak behind that O-Line.

The only way that trade makes sense is if the Browns knew someone was going to trade up for Richardson.

Obviously. I'd be curious to see if it was New England. That move would have made so much sense for the Pats.

You know what would make this day awesome? Tampa picking Kuechly over Claiborne/Kalil.

Vikings get a late 4th, a 5th, and a 7th to move down one spot. Not bad compensation for the Browns to get Richardson - who probably would've been traded for by Tampa if they stayed put IMO.
