Early Look at 2013 NFL Draft

John Simon should be in 1st round mix next year. Kid is a beast.

It'll be interesting to see if William Gholston's draft stock will be influenced at all by his bust of a cousin.

Amerson is legit. Kid is a true 6'3" 200 and runs in the 4.3's. And he's a ballhawk.
FSU is loaded again with defense talent. Carradine is the most interesting to me. He's a load and fast.
Overall the ACC looks a little down although there are several QBs who could step up.

He is very good and could totally argue he has 1st round talent depending on who comes out.

I have him listed at possible players who have 1st round potential, had a inconsistent year last season because of injury but does have the height and the talent potentially.

Yeah, and Kenny Tate moved down to linebacker and was so so before being injured, and Harrison Smith started at linebacker for ND and then moved back. Then Antonio Allen on SC was basically a hybrid linebacker safety for them and still got drafted. I feel he should stay at SS though, will see.

Yeah it will be real interesting how Geno Smith does this year, had such an amazing bowl game. Will see if he becomes an elite 1st round talent at quarterback, but he does have a hell of a lot of competition.

hahaha
Yeah if a lot of juniors come out next year at QB, the junior crop for the 2014 class looks rough right now at QB. But Sammy Watkins will be in that mix at the top as will Jadeveon Clowney at DE and fine OTs also potentially in Cyrus Kouandjio, Fabbians Ebbele and Cameron Fleming.

When, before or after the back injury? Kid has been an insane disappointment and all of this is on potential and his physical size and hypothetical athletic ability. If it was on production he would not even be in the discussion. Hopefully he turns it around...but yes he is in the conversation potentially

Can't go off Rivals rankings for draft rankings. Look at Bryce Brown, Janzen Jackson, Bobbie Massie, etc.

Talking about A-State, I'm curious about their QB Ryan Aplin as a prospect. Impressed me a lot this past season. They definitely should get some more exposure this year since Dyer and Malzahn joined.

Aplin went to high school about a mile from my house, so I've seen him play quite a bit. He is a good college player, but I don't like him as a prospect. He's undersized and his arm isn't all that strong.

Are we going to be hearing similar things about Fluker as we did to Glenn this past year? I haven't seen him play, so I don't know if they're similar in the slightest, or what (aside from size)

But for everyone reading this in Buffalo and Cleveland and everywhere else, take solace in the following: As crazy as it sounds, you're lucky. Your Mount Everest experience is still ahead of you. It's waiting, and it's glorious.- Bill Simmons
