Losing Parise and D-Will in one offseason will drive me insane. If that happens, the only solace will be if we win the cup this year. Gotta win this series

I don't know why in the heck Parise and Suter would choose the Wild. Team is still about a year away from a playoff run.

Parise's a MN boy which is where those rumours come from. Minnesota's going to be very good, very soon. Brodin, Hackett, Granlund, Coyle, Larsson, Zucker, etc... If they can add a few guys entering their prime like Parise and Suter to go along with Koivu, it will only help speed up the re-build. Still need to find a way to dump Heatley though haha.

Zach is clearly going to sign a 17-year contract with Buffalo. Then he can hang out with his boy Stafford and put up 90+ on Ennis' wings. We also give ridiculous change to Paille to come back. Can't be stopped!

Go post more Stern draft conspiracies, I don't care. I'd like Parise to come to the Wild, just don't really see the appeal for him besides coming home.

*Homer Leaf mode*
He's coming to Toronto, we have that picture of him in a Leaf hat and a shirt of Garfield playing hockey and last time I checked, Garfield's team was full, so Leafs for sure...hometown discount as well. Plus, Burke picked him for the Olympic team, he owes him a favour now.

Dare to venture a guess on the contract he'll receive anyone?

I think Ken Holland will look to sign him to a lifetime deal. 10 years maybe.

My guess is that, just as Suter is about to put pen to paper with the Wings, Shea Weber runs out and hits Holland with a steel chair. Then backup referee David Poile runs in with a pair of contracts and fast counts them both to 7-year deals while Commissioner Bettman looks on with a disgusted snarl.
