Hamels to the Dodgers make to much sense right now for it not to happen.

Thats my fear. If he leaves our core takes a huge hit.
Halladay, signed through 2014 at 20 mil per - currently 35
Howard, signed through 2017 at 20-25 mil per - currently 32
Lee, signed through 2016 at 25 mil per - currently 33
Rollins, signed through 2015 at 11 mil per - currently 33
Utley, signed through 2013 at 15 mil per - currently 33
Victorino (31) and Hamels (28) both eligible for FA after this year.
Window i closing big time.

Well as a Mets fan I'm happy to see it. At least you got a WS and 5 startight division titles out of it. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I've been saying that since I found out Hamels was a FA after this season. The dodgers need to make that splash, I felt that that they probably would have been able to go after one or 2 of the big bats this past off season had they had an owner in place...but with Hamels on the market and in need of a good number 2 it would do wonders.

In all seriousness though, Hamels between Strasburg and Zimmermann would be ridiculous. Bryce Harper wouldn't allow it though.

Congrats to Johan Santana. Awesome that the Mets fans finally got to see a no hitter considering it seems that every pitcher that leaves them eventually throws one.

Congrats Johan. It's crazy that he was the first pitcher in their history to throw one.

Congrats to Johan.
In Reds news, Aroldis Chapman is a bad, bad man.

Love beating the **** out of the Brewers in their ballpark. Too man dark, crappy memories regarding that team. Feels good to hopefully shift the winning to our side!

Some guy in a Gary Carter jersey ran on the field to celebrate the blown call no-(1)-hitter?
