Dang, we get a Tiger roar yesterday and no posts in this thread?
Amazing shot if you haven't seen it yet. Its good to see Tiger winning again, and good for the game as well.

Agree. I am not a Tiger fan really, but when he is winning there is no one more exciting to watch.

Just in time for people to have some expectations for his play in the U.S open. And then he'll suck.

yesterday was classic Tiger
he won two weeks prior to the Masters and now in a week and a half the US Open starts...it's very important for him to follow up this win with a solid showing at the US Open

Tiger is kinda good and playing incredibly well on courses where he's had huge success in the past.

Now let's hope it translates over to Augusta National.

If he continues the trend, we might see a wide margin of victory at Augusta. His iron play right now, paired with his putting, is setting him up perfectly for the demands of Augusta.

How does a 14 year old shoot a 73 at Augusta?

Apparently the kid has been studying and watching Augusta since he was 3.

Even so, its pretty amazing. I feel like every year Freddie Couples shoots a good first round and then fades so I'm not expecting him to stick around too long. Excited to watch the weekend unfold.
GO PHIL!

Slow play penalty? Give me a break leave the kid alone. He better not miss the cut by one stroke.
First slow play penalty at Augusta since 1995.

Yeah, I saw this as well and its ********. I don't blame him for taking a bit of extra time for being caught up in the moment. He's 14 for Christ sake. Is the penalty included in his +4 score or has it yet to be added? I just saw the story.

Pretty sure it's already been included.
If Sergio Garcia has never been given a slow play penalty at the Masters there is no reason to give one to a child.

So that means he shot 73 and 74 on consecutive days. Major props to him for that. Its not uncommon to see an amateur shoot one low score, but they often bomb afterwards as its hard to maintain that level of play. Shows the kid has some serious game and composure.

Wow, Tiger hits the pin on what would have been a great shot to set him up for a birdie putt and it bounces back and into the water. Ridiculously bad break.

Suchhhh an unlucky break. Awesome composure to stick the next shot right next to the flag anyways.
