Doughty's goal was sick. You could see him accelerate to that next level level like he was pressing turbo and then he buried it.

Poor Sharks fans. Soon to be the only CA hockey team with no Cup. I just realized that three teams in that division will be able to say they have banners.

And don't forget Brodeur's impending retirement.

why must you say mean things?
Honestly, I just wanna win this cup, have Marty go out on top and pray Parise re-signs, but if he doesn't, at least he got his cup here

It'll only happen if you play Tallinder. Trust me on this! Tell DeBoer!

And I might hate Boston, but I'm pretty excited for Tuukka Rask getting the starting job. He obviously deserves it and he seems a whole lot less douchey than Thomas. Finns and Americans (and the King) continue to dominate the goalie pool.

Caps traded Vokun's rights to the Pens for a 7th round pick. Interesting.

Signed Vokun to a two year deal. I wonder what the numbers were.

Almost seems bizarre how quickly he has fallen. I'd think it's good for Pittsburgh, though.
He was only making 1.5 last year. He'll probably have an average backup salary.

2 years, 4 million is the terms. I'd deal with 2 million a year. He'll play quite a bit next season I believe. MAF has been playing too much.

With the resurgence of the NHL discussion in the last couple months, I'm wondering who here would be interested in a fantasy off-season like we used to do a couple of years ago : Acting as GM of a team or two, draft, sign and trade players. If about 15 or more would be good to go, I could run this thing, starting in a week or two. You don't have to know that much about hockey, just do some research for the draft and every one here would be okay to play.

I am appalled that this game tonight is on Versus and not on NBC. Really, ******* Americas Got Talent and Grimm is more important than a SCF game? I can't believe this. I don't know who made that decision but NBC can go eat its own ****
