the original question was 'what are the positives to keeping Quinn?' the only positive i see is it sent Palko packing back to whatever rock Haley pulled him out from under. if a young QB or QBs in this case (hopefully) can come in and play at an equal level to Quinn, then he can kick rocks. i'd rather have a younger kid with room to grow as a QB than Quinn. we kinda know what he is already.

Quinn's there to hold the clipboard. His place as the #3 QB is pretty well cemented. He'll probably be the #2 on game days because of the weird rules the NFL has for QBs, but if Cassel gets hurt, we'll more likely see Stanzi start the next week and beyond until Cassel is back. Mid-game situation, though...it's Quinn for now.
