Mike Jenkins for Percy, deal?
We can also throw in Felix Jones to sweeten the offer ;)

That wouldn't be a horrendous deal. Mike Jenkins is probably better than any corner Minnesota currently has. And Felix Jones would be a better fill in than Toby Gerhart.

So a corner who's been forced out of his spot because he's not as talented as the others for an up and coming, explosive offensive weapon? Sounds fair to me!

He's still a fairly young CB with a Pro-Bowl under his belt that is more than capable of manning a #2 job. Carr is a top 15 CB and Claiborne has the potential to be a top 5-10 guy... the fact that we loaded up at the position doesn't mean Jenkins all of a sudden isn't starter material. He still is, we're just log-jammed.

He's 27, and his PDefs and INT have gone down every year since 2009. And I'm pretty sure you guys never ran zone coverage. Unless you guys threw in a first or second too, I wouldn't do it.

How about LaMichael James and a 3rd rounder? That's basically the equivalent of a 2nd and a 3rd. Gives you a young dynamic player who can still run some of your Harvin package and also gives you a capable option in the return game. And not to mention a nice compliment to AP. No one's giving you a first for guy who has yet to prove he can stay healthy. Maybe the 3rd can be bummed to a 2nd if certain incentives are met.

Jets were supposedly aggressively trying to trade up for him in the draft that year, so they obviously like him too. I'd be down.

God no. Not the Jets. Please anyone but them so I don't have to hear about how dynamic and incredible they'll be with the Tebowz and the Harvinz and the Holmesz and.....not the Sanchez, but the Sparanoz. They will cream over any minor move and talk about how it makes them a lock for the Super Bowl.

Nobody is ever going to trade a first round pick for Percy Harvin.

no thx... i'd want nothing to do with ex-cowboys. i saw enough of jenkins getting burned last year.
i don't think i'd do it even for Ware. the torque he puts on his lower back everytime he comes out of his stance doesn't look condusive to sustained longevity in this league...

Pardon my language, but I think I'd probably trade Jordy Nelson and my own left nut to see Ware go to the Packers.

Life as a non-Minnesotan Vikings fan is like riding a suckstick for the rest of eternity. How can it get worse than a 3-13 season winning all of zero games within the division, with our franchise player tearing his ACL? Oh, lets have our third best player demand a trade. But on top of that, for reasons non-contract related, making it all the more inevitable. God damnit Percy. Not like I can blame the guy though, playing only 54% of our offensive snaps. ******* Bill Musgrave, guy looks like a saggier, balder version of Chris Cooper in Seabiscuit. I've convinced myself that Christian Ponder is our quarterback of the future, but then again I thought Tarvaris Jackson would be servicable so what the **** do I know? [/endrant]

Apparently, he's mad because he thinks the organization is dicking off Joe Web by not even giving him a chance at starting.

He's right.
The coaches use him terribly.
They try to preserve his health (even though he's only missed three games in three years) by only playing him when he gets the ball. The defense knows this and it makes it extremely difficult for him to get going because they key on him. My point still stands. Harvin is not used well in Minny and would be awesome on a team with another receiving threat and where he would actually stay on the field as a decoy rather than on the bench when he isn't the primary on a given play.
They rarely use him as a decoy and its frustrating for him because there are no other receiving threats.
I'd want out too.
EDIT: I didn't read that correctly because my contact is messed up. I thought he said Percy thinks the organization is dicking him around by not starting him.

I sincerely doubt this considering he only started doing well once Ponder was starting
