I'd say the Kings lucked out. Having their choice between Thomas Robinson and Harrison Barnes was about as good of luck as they could have had. I don't think Robinson will be that great, but he certainly seems to be a guy you can start in this league and win with. There's great value in that kind of player.

Robinson is going to really benefit playing with Cousins who's developing into one of the best passing Centers in the NBA, and is starting to see more double teams as he progresses. Robinson can be that slashing althetic PF, who also rebound and is developing his jump shot. I have really high hopes with this pick, last time we were at 5 we had good luck with Cousins falling and I think the same will be said about Robinson looking back at this draft. Once Whiteside is ready with Thompson expect them to be our defensive bullies downlow with Cousins and Robinson seeing post up and pick and role action.
