I'm going to see it tonight and expect it to be 1643516846316984635163 times better than SpiderMan 3.
Actually, I've done the math and there's no way that it can't be. SM3 was that terrible.
I'm going to have a root canal without anesthetics, and I expect it to be 1643516846316984635163 times better than SpiderMan 3.

I think the fact that they are remaking Spider-Man just five years after the previous series ended without a drastic change in tone or to put it into the Avengers is stupid.
Spider-Man will never be part of The Avengers. Sony holds the film rights to the character while Marvel Studios owns everything we saw in The Avengers.
Look at it this way, if Rodgers had Allstate instead of State Farm, he'd be protected from mayhem like this

AMC is doing what they did for The Avengers and showing Batman Begins and The Dark Knight on July 19th leading up to The Dark Knight Rises. Three movies in one sitting. Regular viewing or IMAX (the latter isn't an option for me however). I'm debating if I should pay for it. It's only $25. Might want to bring my own food though as food there is expensive. I don't like going opening night, and I didn't for The Avengers (saw it the next morning), but I'm more so a fan of Batman. Batman Begins is one of my favorite movies of all time and it would be nice to see it in theaters again. Dealing with some of the fanatics that night and folks checking their cell phones constantly might be obnoxious. Would do you people think?

Already got tickets to the IMAX version. You know you want to Ness, just do it.

My theatre is doing the same thing. I wanted to do it buy my wife did not agree. I'm still seeing the midnight showing. I did this when Return of the King came out. It was fun but damn that is a lot of movie watching in one day.

I finally saw Moonrise Kingdom. I guess I'm a bit of a Wes Anderson 'fanboy' but it didn't disappoint at all. Loved it. It was as over-stylized as ever but it just added to the charm.
I caught the after credits scene of Spider-man on Youtube and Meh...wasnt really worth it even if I did stay after.
I know that Spider-man was waaaaaay better then the 3rd movie but does anyone else think it was better then the 2nd movie? Or am I the only one?
I haven't watched them recently so I can't say with 100% certainty. I'm going to go back and watch them maybe tonight to determine. Based on memory, the new Spider-Man was definitely better than the third, maybe a little better than the second, and neck-to-neck with the first one.
