I think its just that we can't play a full game. The Islanders game is a perfect example the first period was brutal but we dominated the second two periods now we start off fast and let up towards the end. We were lucky to get a point out of that.

Things like that even out. For example we never should have lost that game against the Islanders last week, we dominated the last two periods. Heatley was pretty awesome last night, hopefully he keeps that up.

Under estimate them. Sure safe pick is to believe the Wolves will be bad this year.

But fact is JJ Barea is a fine guard in the NBA and will provide the Wolves with a one two small guard offense. Barea being a scoring guard naturally and Rubio being pass first point guard.

On top of that, Derrick Williams is a physical beast and could arguably play the 4 or the 3 and possibly the 2 position against weak ball handling 2 guards. They can do so much with their lineup with guys like Beasley, Randolph, Darko, Lee, Johnson etc...


And you still have Beasley who can give you 20 any night at random and Kevin Love now can bomb three point shots apparently even better than he did before.

I think the Wolves will be much improved and if they finish 26-40 that would be a huge disappointment.


Time to win is now for them, no reason why they cannot. They have the players, the depth and should be a damn fun team to watch....


Well lets hope so, but sure it is just preseason but the preseason game tonight was wildly entertaining and show cased just how good Rubio and Derrick Williams could be....


Wolves have not had a rookie as exciting as Derrick Williams for a long long time...

Man, **** the Twins. They've got about four major league caliber hitters: Span, Mauer, Willingham, and Morneau(who's hurt), and are lucky if they have one MLB caliber starting pitcher and a couple MLB caliber relievers.

At least Sano is tearing up low A at 18(will be 19 in 4 days). I'm actually going to be going to watch him(and Eddie Rosario) in Beloit in a couple weeks as long as he's still there. It's less than a three hour drive from where I live, so me and a couple friends are gonna go watch them.
