I hope he doesn't. Not only because I hate everything about them but because it's such a waste of his skills. He's not the kind of player who should be standing outside the three point line watching Melo iso. He's a great spot up shooter and he would be a big help but it's just such a waste.

Nash needs to stop being stupid and just come to Miami for 3 mil a year.

Meh, he'll be back here too if at all financially possible. I'm not a believer, but too much of a money maker for Dolan.

Up until a few days ago I really liked what Houston had going for them. If they sign Lin though......along with that Asik contract I don't see it.
I'd rather overpay Dragic than pay Lin the contract that he's going to get.

Uhg, the Asik contract isnt THAT awful, go look at other bigs and how much theyre paid, go look at DeAndre Jordan who is a flashier version of Asik, and how much he got last year. Id prefer not to pay him anything at all, but its not the horrific deal that people are making it out to be.

Eh you can't really use the DeAndre Jordan deal to justify it. That's a terrible deal too. A good deal worse actually.
I like Asik. He's a good player and with extended minutes he might be a top 10 rebounder in the league. 8 million dollar a year contracts shouldn't be handed out to players who can't score unless they're spoonfed buckets. Just my opinion.

DeAndre Jordan isn't really a flashier version of him, because that's implying Jordan is good at anything. Asik is probably an elite defender and rebounder, but he's worthless on offense and tends to get into foul trouble rather easily. Jordan is a ****** defender, has no notable offensive skills, and just stands around waiting to dunk or maybe block a shot.

All bigs make stupid amounts of money so even though Asik makes a lot it's still not bad compared to most big contracts. Diop makes 7 next year, 10/11/11.5 for Jordan, 14/15/16 for Marc Gasol (worth it), 8/9/10/10.5 left for Haywood, Elton Brand makes 18 mil this year, Big Baby makes 20 over the next 3 years, Chandlers is 13.5/14/14.5 (worth it), Biedrins makes 9/9, Perkins makes 8/8.5/9. So yea, bigs get paid way too much money, so Asik's contract isn't overly bad. Just wait until Javale McGee get a boatload of money, then you can start freaking out.
Except Gortat, he only makes 7.5 a year.

Everyone wants their favorite team to have big guys like Dwight Howard and Tim Duncan, but there aren't many of those guys to go around and teams still need to have size on their front line, even if it means having 'stiffs'.

Don't know if it was posted or not, but it looks like Michael Beasley is more than likely going to sign with the Suns.

I'm a fan of Beasley. That would be a nice pick up for them. I bet he'll come at an affordable price since he's underrated.

What would make this even better is if the Kings could sign AK47 to a nice little 3 year contract.
Of course the cherry on top would be finding some team to take Salmons off their hands.

Sefalosha knows his role as the defensive guy who occasionally takes shots if he's wide open. Tyreke is offensive poison.
