I agree, i'm just wondering what they're doing. They've been staying afloat in mediocrity since McGrady and Yao went to ****, they need to clean house and go young, or try to win now with what they have. I can't imagine they could not find a better deal for Lowry.

The NBA is a simple sport guys.

If you want to be a true contender, you need to have 1 of the top 7 players in the league on your team. If you don't have that, you're not a true contender.

You can go into the 2nd round of the playoffs, maybe even get lucky and go to the conference finals, but the only true contenders in this league have a top 7 player on their team.

LA - Kobe
Miami - LeBron
OKC - Durant
NYK - Melo
Chicago - Rose
Whoever lands him - Dwight Howard

Everyone else is just a pretender. That's the harsh reality of this league. If you don't have one of those assassins on your roster, you're just a pretender.

Look at Miami. Everyone lol'd about how they have no bench, no center, they don't mesh well and they lack floor spacing.

And what do they do? Go to 2 finals in a row, and win 1. Should have won both if they weren't out of wack mentally last year.
