Baylor WR Josh Gordon Applies for Supp Draft
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...emental-draft/
Didn't play last year after being suspended indefinitely. Reportedly has 4.3 speed and is listed at 6'3 220. Could definitely be some interest there.

We'll see what off the field concerns crop up though, that will be the determining factor of his stock.

I don't see any harm on giving him a shot 4th or later. His time out of actual games, though, scares me a bit.
I like the Texans, Jets, or Seahawks to make a play. Browns would be smart to but I have little faith in their FO doing anything right.

Went to BU, saw him play. He could be worth a shot. Kind of an egomaniac though. 5th round?

Was just thinking...It would have been very crazy if a guy with those tools had been there last year with RGIII and Kendall Wright.

Yea that would have been crazy. I feel like it would have been incredible for RG3 while in school but still keep him at #2 and would hurt Wright's stock. Still would have been fun to watch.

Could he really be any worse than Tiquan Underwood?
I'd say NE should give him a chance and then magically "IR" him. 7th rounders are nothing.

Not draftable IMO. Worth working out, but that is about all.

Russ Lande gives him a 2nd round grade and even goes as far as to say that his 2010 tape is better than Wright's 2011 tape. Hm.

I am surprised at the overhyping, lol. Can't say that I have seen it, but then again, I only have a couple games.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Josh Gordon is expected to be timed in the 40-yard dash in the 4.4s or better. He could go as high as 2nd round.

I hope Seattle makes a play for him.

id be surprised if he went in the second, id say 4th at best...not that he isnt worth a second, he might be but teams are really stingy in the supplemental. hell i wouldnt mind the steelers using a 4th on him as wallace insurance

Tough to see somebody give up a 2nd rounder with the off the field stuff and so long being out of football, who knows what kind of shape he is in now. Though he does make sense for a team like Miami & Cleveland. Why not approach for a 3rd rounder..

definitely worth a shot with a 3rd rounder imo. would be really happy if the skins were able to get him with a 3rd.

If Tony Hollings can fetch a second rounder, so can this guy.

Do the skins have any picks after the RG3 trade?

He's very Tommy Streeter-like. Similar type player where the production never really showed up, but the talent is there. If Streeter went in the 5th/6th i dont see what really separates him from Streeter...

We need immediate help, and in the slot more then likely. Even if we kick Austin down to slot which he has played a ton of in the past, we'd need an outside guy right away. Gordon doesn't seem like the safest bet to give production to whoever picks him up this year. He's already missed OTA's and mini camps, has a few seasons out of football, and 1 small injury that holds him out of TC time puts him WAY behind the curve.
I'd be surprised if we spent a pick that high knowing it wasn't for immediate help, but who knows. I hope not.
