I haven't ever really had to look down at the keyboard which has been very beneficial. That keyboarding class in the 6th grade was very well worth the hassle.

I normally don't but my laptop is rather new(ish) and I find myself looking at it sometimes, especially when using keys outside the main area. I never really learned how to type 'properly' but I consider myself to be a rather effective typist, especially when expressing my own thoughts instead of just reading something and typing it out.

Funny we are talking about this, I just was looking at a blank keyboard the other day and wondering if it would be a good investment when I get a PC.

Yeah switching from keyboard to laptop or vice versa is hard because the size difference I have been on a laptop for a while now. When I'm asked to go to the desktop keyboard I have issues.
