Maybe I should just become a T'Wolves fan. They just get all of my favorite players and evrybody knows they're moving to Columbus. Haha.

Collision/Beaubois/Cunningham
Mayo/Carter/Beaubois/Jones/Jones
Marion/Carter/Crowder
Dirk/Brand
Kaman/Brand/James
Lots of combo guards is big for us.
Also our young guys having some really good games in our summer league games.
Dominic Jones lead the way with 21 points, Crowder had 15 points, and our 27 year old Rook James had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Really like how our team and depth is looking right now. We have a pretty solid defensive line up with Marion, Jones, and if we do bring back West.

For whiffing on all the big names they initially wanted, coming away with Collison, Mayo, Brand and Kaman for next to nothing is pretty damn good for the Mavs.

Pretty hard team to hate. Rubio will be fine, Love is a top 5-6 player in the league, and they are surrounded by young talent. Get on the bandwagon before we sign James Harden and become title contenders!!!

Wolves never offered D-Will+2 first rounders for Batum. All the beat writers are denying that.

Chris Brousard made a good point about Jeremy Lin and NY. Why don't the knicks just match and trade him before his third year?

Chris Broussard also said Steve Nash might sign with Charlotte and he went ahead and essentially did the opposite. Who in their right mind would trade for Lin's 14 million dollar contract?

Itd be large expiring contract for a mediocre player and we all know they're worth a ton in the NBA.
As for the Mavs, I'm sorry for doubting their offseason approach. Awesome deals with a lot of flexibility for next year FA.

All they need to do is improve their Post D. Other than that, I'd say this team is better than the team that won the 'ship.

Is that really true? Sure teams in cases that are trying to position for a move may take a large expiring but look Kevin Martin is on a 12 mil expiring, Calderon 10 mil, Reddick 6 mil and their teams are practically offering them up for whatever yet the demand the low. The truth is any trade NY would make of Lin's 14 mil would have to have contracts non expirings coming back. So maybe a team will offer the Knicks some draft picks that 3rd year to get his expiring but they would still have to be taking back some bad contracts. If you match Lin you'd better have the plan to start him and pay him all 3 years because banking on making a trade later is not realistic, only way to avoid having to pay him 14 mil that last year would be if you offered draft picks for someone to take him.

Cmon lol.
Signing Jamison makes Pau expendable. Not unless its for the right deal.

it's a gamble. but so is every investment. If he's good, there are plenty of teams that would take his "massive" one year deal.

Of course it's true but absolutely something you don't bank on two years in advance. When you sign a deal of that nature, you're committing to all three years.
Clippers are having the best offseason, aside from whoever lands Dwight.
Lamar Odom
Grant Hill
Re-signed Blake long term
Brought Chauncey back
Signed Crawford
The message here has to be to show Paul they're committed to winning.

Well before nash became a laker I was advocating working a deal that involved sending pau and blake to the sixers and we get Iguodala and crap in return.
But now everyone keeps telling me how good a nash/gasol pick and roll is gonna be. So i guess i'll have to hold out hope.
Pau's salary is expensive and could've saved us 5 million and maybe even 19 mil if iggy didn't pick up his player option.
Next year Kobe's going to make 30 mil then we gotta offer Bynum max. that's a whole lot of money tied up in a big three that hasn't played to the best of their abilities together yet.
EDIT: plus paul milsap would be available next free agency.
