I love my nieces now that they are actually talking and I can actually play with them. Babies are like little creatures and I consider dogs the cooler creature.

Aren't you at that age where you have to be changed?

Yeah, but that's only when your mom and I role play. ;)

CJ is a wise man. There is no greater joy in life than being a father.

I'm sure being a father is a wonderful experience. I hope to be one in maybe five years or do. But I am not looking forward to the crying. There is no sound that makes me cringe more than a crying baby.

SAMESIES. I loathe the sound of a baby crying. Just can't stand it.

I played Laser Tag with my son and his cub scout troop yesterday. All crying and poopy diapers where forgotten and forgiven.

I dont doubt CJ for a second when he talks about the joys of being a father, but I feel as though the infant-to-5 year old part is where I would lose my ******* sanity.

Those years will try you. They are sprinkled with scant, yet awesome moments, but it really does improve once they hit six.

My answer fully depends on if they are my dog/baby or someone else's. I love my dog. But based on what I've heard of fatherhood being a dad > being a dog owner. Now if we are talking about someone else's baby or dog. Dog wins 100 times out of 100. Babies cry, smell, throw up and are way too delicate I feel like I will break them if I hold them too hard. Other people's dogs for the most part just love the attention. they will chill there and let you pet them til your arm hurts after the obligatory 5 minutes or so of barking at you.

Both growing up around babies and a dog I like both. Kids are awesome from ages 3-8 and dogs are just awesome. So guess I'll go with dogs.

Once they hit four they are no longer babies.
