Cain does have one very important point though. If someone who is known for not sending in night actions or taking their sweet time doing so. I would highly consider moving that role.

Neither of you becomes full blow inactive, but I think your participation drops a little with the laziness aspect of it. Whereas at some points, either of you is capable of dominating the conversation and playing really well, you just seem to play half-hearted when townie.

Him and I actually discussed not too long ago about not taking the action of the last person to submit their action each night. They get mod roleblocked basically.
There is no god damn reason for EVER taking 10-12 hours to submit your action during daylight-evening hours. Overnight I care less because even I'm asleep, but sometimes the thread will close in the late morning or early afternoon and it takes until THE NEXT ******* DAY to get it started again because certain pieces of **** decide to take for-*******-ever to get their actions in. It's extremely irritating.
And I don't give a **** about any excuse you have when that happens. Like, I realize that certain people are in vastly different time zones or can't check in from work like some of us can. But at least check in before you leave for work/sleep, or check in as soon as you get our of work/wake up. Check from your phone on breaks. Do something! Don't ******* bother to sign up when you know you're going to be away for vast stretches of the day.
I'm sure you want to play, but don't hold up 20 other people because you can't be bothered to get online for 5 minutes to send in your action.

I don't think I've ever been the reason a game has stalled. Mods LOVE ME.

Exactly! I'm usually up front with everyone for when I'm going to work and I can't be standing around reading through the pages until my break or lunch. But if I leave for work and it seems like things are going to be closing, I'll check like every 30 minutes just to see if the thread is closed, and then I'll submit my night action.
But, now my whole game plan is ruined now! Argh.

Yeah, certain people always get their action in within 5 minutes of being online. Those people are awesome.
Generally, I expect the mafia's action to be last. They are justified in wanting to get everyone together so they can discuss their plans and share info.
But when you, as an individual, take longer than the ENTIRE MAFIA to get your actions in, it pisses me off. I think some of these people know who they are but will never admit it.

We kinda stalled it the first night with the Wire.
I remember Bulldogs pressuring us to get our actions in.

True, but we were waiting on OSU. I eventually just started sending his action in with mine because he was inactive.

I don't mind a little bit of non-random action, but I don't like the bolded part. You are basically rewarding people who ***** and moan about not having a power role.

I've been allowing the godfather to do that in all my games recently. It just makes things quicker and easier.

Not to come off like an asshole, but a few of you are modding now and you've done it once and the games went pretty smooth, but eventually with an all random game you'll see the problems that arise.
And you're not forced to play in any game, so bitching about how a particular mod runs his game makes no sense.

When I modded The Wire game I didn't edit it per say, but I randomized it multiple times until I liked the look of it.

That was an example. Its doesn't happen anywhere near as often as you might think. The point being is that I slot in an active player into a power role vs leaving an inactive in there.

It's the same deal. You knew what you were looking for and kept doing it until you got it.

As soon as you randomize a 2nd time it is no longer a true random...

Also for those wondering the vampire game is a complete random. I tend to not tweak unless it is a large game.

Hey, you didn't see me complaining earlier. I hate to pick on players, but when you see that your mafia is made up of Snicho/ncst8/SP you tend to want to salvage something you worked for hours on.

Thats not even that bad... ncst8 can be inactive at times, SP gets one thought in his head and everything else means nothing and Snicho is in a different time zone.
There are far worse combinations out there.
