Technically it's class of '12, but this is the greatest comment ever from unranked Brennan Franklin who just signed with PSU...

"It wasn't even a tough choice," Franklin, a member of the class of 2012 said. "I wasn't going to play in a bowl game anyway if I would have gone I-AA or to New Mexico or Indiana. Plus, it's Linebacker U, and I'm a linebacker."

Mackenro Alexander is trying to commit to FSU. He and the brother worth taking have made it clear they're a package deal.

Breaking news: Florida CB Rashard Robinson has committed to #LSU. That's 22 commitments for the 2013 class.

Unless you were a legacy, there is no good reason for a 2-star or better player to go to PSU.

What is everyone's opinion on the fast approach many teams are taking with recruiting this year? Texas was one of the few who has done it in the past, but this year it seems like many teams already have most of their recruits at this point.

Mahon, Sickels, Hack, and AB should all stay. Brandon Bell said he's also staying as well. It sucks, but it's life.

I hear Sickles is actually looking around and that him and Mahon are a package deal. Once Hackenberg realizes he'll never play in a bowl this winter I think he'll bolt also which means Breneman will be gone also. It's not looking good.

It's all a joke anyway. A commit isn't worth **** from either end, so whether it happens in April or November, the only thing that matters is signing day.

2014 4* OH LB Michael Ferns committed to Michigan yesterday. In the 14 months since he took over as Michigan's coach, Brady Hoke has landed eight kids from Ohio with Ohio State offers. In the previous ten years before Hoke, Michigan landed only seven.

They are probably attracted to the fact that you can get arrested for DUIs and theft and not miss any playing time.

I don't know where you're getting that from. There is about a 0% chance that Clark plays against Alabama. He could end up getting kicked off the team if the charges aren't reduced. I'm not sure about Fitz, but Stonum was suspended a whole year for his second DUI (first one happened pre-Hoke) and was kicked off the team for violating probation. Fitz may or may not play against Alabama, but probably not.
