I watch with complete apathy these days. Sucks that Trout will probably not win the MVP because of his crappy team mates sucking up the joint

The only way I see someone overtaking Trout is if a guy like Cabrera puts in some memorable performances down the stretch to get the Tigers into the playoffs. I don't think Cabrera would be deserving of it, but these are baseball writers with the votes.
As it stands now, I think Trout just has too big of a lead on any other AL position player for the writers to give the award to anyone else.

Miguel Cabrera. If the Tigers make the playoffs...which they will(and I still see them winning their division), the voters will go with that.
look at last season. Ellsbury got robbed of the MVP because of his teams terrible collapse in September. Bet the same thing happens with Trout

To be honest, as reluctant as I was to declare it two or three months ago, Trout has been so good, he probably deserves a clean sweep this year in the awards.
MVP, ROY, GG, Silver Slugger
He's been that good. I can only hope he's just playing out of his mind this year and he comes back to earth after this year.

Well, the stuff he's doing this year is just ridiculous. It would be quite a feat to really repeat this
with that said, he clearly has 20+ HR power and 40+ SB ability. The BA next year is anybody's guess, though I wouldn't expect .340+

It will all come down to the playoffs. Angels somehow get a WC spot, then Trout wins
so yeah, it's not happening

Trout better not get ******* robbed of this. I don't think there is any doubt who the best player in the league has been this year.

There usually isn't too much doubt, but that doesnt stop baseball writers from routinely ******* it up royally.

Jeff Kent is going to be on the new season of Survivor. I can't wait to see his assholeness on the show.

Roger Clemens is signed with an independent team to pitch this Saturday. At age of freaking 50, he clocks at 87 mph. That is crazy.

Like Ichiro! Suzuki winning in 2001. Absolutely ridiculous. Not even the most valuable player on his team.
What Trout has going for him (just like Ichiro!) is that he has a TON of buzz from the media. The fact that he is so darn good in all facets as a rookie may make up for his team ******** the bed in a historic year.
Of course Ichiro! had the whole "historic season" going with the 116 wins in Seattle. Someone had to win from Seattle. He just had the most media buzz.

I don't know why you must keep the Ichiro thing going as Trout does deserve it. Plus, Morneau in 2006 was way worse.

Kershaw and Bumgarner battle to the death.
Kershaw will prevail.

Beautiful game thrown by Bumgarner, his cutter was crisp.
Giants take back 1st place.

What a drop in value in the last 15 months. He would have been worth a top tier prospect in early 2011, now he's a salary dump that nets a 23 year old in A ball?
