This awesome article has personal Top 10 movie lists for the likes of Scorsese, Tarantino, Woody Allen, and a slew of other huge name directors. Apparently it was for some survey, but it's really cool to see which movies some famous directors love.

Yep. I admired the artistry of it but I didn't like it as pure entertainment.

I thought for sure he'd have Reservoir Dogs on there.

I don't know if anyone cares, but Grantland is running a tournament of Greatest Sequel.
http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...equel-all-time
My biggest complaint is the lack of the Bourne sequels and a Michael Bay directed movie has made the list.

I'd add TDK to your list APS and I would agree, those movies are pretty much far and away the best on there.

Rocky IV against Naked Gun 2 1/2 in the first round? That's championship material.

They mention in another post that discusses how they came up with the movies, and someone comments that because of the audience of their readers/facebook voting, TDK is going to blow away the competition.
I'm in your boat, I think T2 should be at worst in the finals because of it's impact at the time and that it still is awesome.

Umm, Godfather 2? I'd go:
-Empire Strikes Back
-Godfather II
-Return of the King (HOW IS THIS AN 8 SEED?)/Two Towers
-Dark Knight
-Aliens
-Terminator 2
I think they grouped the Bourne sequels with the Bond sequels, as in they don't necessarily count as pure sequels. Doesn't exactly forgive them for having Bad Boys II (which sucks, by the way) as a higher seed than Return of the King.

I don't hate the LOTR movies, but the more I watch them, the more boring they get. I think they both got ****** seeding, but also hilarious they are both pitted against Star Wars round 1.

He's not Aaron Sorkin, plus he's obsessed with classic movies and campy crappy movies. That, with his speed addiction and foot fetish..
