Town did play a good game. They ****** up 1-2 times but the mafia didn't take care of ****.

Not necessarily an indicator that your game was unbalanced. It's pretty difficult to suggest it based on just one game. If there were ten games with the same/similar set-up we'd have much more to go on!

but srsly, i've got some pretty cool roles and BB even helped make sure it was evenly powered. Pretty pumped, it's up after the Cage game

You'll be lucky to get 10 players at this rate. I'm thinking of dropping out of the Cage game as it is.

Yeah I am personally done with mafia for the year. It had started to lose its luster basically ever since I modded my own game, each game requiring more effort from me to actually care to play. Its why I ultimately pulled my world history game, didn't feel like modding when I didn't even want to play anymore. I think Caddy and Renji would have perhaps liked it, vanilla townies outnumbered the power roles, if enough people had played my town/mafia percentage was just a little less than Grizz's in Toy Story. But perhaps after football season mafia will pick back up.

When I re-started the mafia trend on these boards I thought we'd play like 2-3 and be done with it - not 50.

I think I'm with everyone else and the Cage game will be my last for a while. At least until Christmas break. I maxed out my units this semester and will have 0 times at all.
