i wouldnt except more then an average season form Gallery. He learning a new oline scheme. IMO, Moss will stay as a Raider or roit and except Davis to be fired next year.

I think this is Gallery's breakout year. Someone posted some photos of him in the offseason workouts [he's been working out with Iowa's strength coach] and he looks more in shape than he has in the past 2-3 years.

He totally wasn't suited to Shell's abortion of a 1 on 1 blocking scheme and the new offense and blocking system should suit his strengths. By now he probably has learned every blocking system possible in the NFL with the 4 different coaches he's had, so this is old hat for him.

Yep......and we ran a zone blocking system in Gallery and Grove's rookie years under our then o-line coach, Bruce Colletto.
I'm glad to see us using that system again now, b/c our line only gave up 30 sacks when we ran it in the 2004 season. That number is not great, but it beats the hell out of the 72 we gave up last season.

Only if you agree to leave and never come back if Jake gets less than 1,000 yards, gets suspended, or attacks or gets physically attacks a teammate. Then we have a deal.

You guys really still have hope for Gallery? Really? I mean crap, he looked not just bad, but AWFUL last year. He was repeatedly getting beat one on one, absolutely schooled.

He only got "schooled" by a guy with an illegal substance in his blood.

He occassionally got beat enough from others to warrant moving him back to right tackle if Barry Sims beats him out for the left tackle job in camp this spring.
If that happens, so be it.He played a hell of alot better at right tackle.

It ain't my money that he's being paid, so if Sims beats him for the LT spot, so be it...........Whatever's best for the team.

well im not one to believe that every player on our offense sucks and will never make it in the nfl. There was something bigger going on than just poor individual performances.

I remember the first couple years when people were saying he has a chance to be an All-Pro Reciever after being tutored by the likes of Tim Brown and Jerry Rice.

The whole o-line looked awful last year, but the guy who was gettin schooled signed a big contract with the Bills, good luck with that Buffalo.
