It's strange....I have an unwavering allegiance to the USMNT, far surpassing that of my allegiance to Newcastle. As far as the players though, I don't really care so much. I hope we destroy Timmy Howard tomorrow and will celebrate any howlers.

EDIT: Except Bradley. I love Michael Bradley.

I am, but my dad is Mexican and a huge soccer fan, so aside from football (which i picked up on my own, mostly), i grew up watching soccer with him and of course i'd follow his rooting interests. I never really adopted the US Soccer team like i have other things. Mexico's national team will always be #1 for me.

I'm in the same boat up until that last part. My old man pushed USA soccer on me and he kept rooting for El Salvador. Always said "I'm a Salvadorian born and raised, you're an American born and raised, you root for your home country...otherwise I'll kick your ass" but in spanish lmao

hahaha engerland winning the WC.

EDIT: Having said that, I do care more about Union than the national team, but Union's also one of the most amazing clubs in europe. How many other teams in any sport anywhere could not only renovate their stadium with funds that the fans donated, but actually get those same fans to volunteer their time and skills to do a lot of the construction work themselves. That sort of dedication between the club and fans just blows anything I've ever seen away.

EDIT: People on twitter crying because Ba has been dropped. Seriously, people know nothing about football. And one guy was like "Ba has 17 goals since he joined and Pardew dropped him?!". 15 of those goals were before February...

I like that formation. I don't like that we are missing several if our best players. A draw is a solid result. Unfortunately, I won't be watching live......the game is recording for when I get back from work though. Hopefully, it will be a good end to the day.

I'm fully expecting Fellaini and Jelavic to own Williamson at least once or twice. Plus there is no Krul in net to play superman. We shall see. For me, a draw is a good result.
