The Chronic 2001 came out after 1997 so that rule blows.

Detox won't come out until he dies. I hate to say it but there's no way it's going to live up to 12 years of hype anyway.

Dre made so much money on headphones that the album might be on the backburner until the popularity of the beats starts to fall a bit. Then he'll drop the myth that is Detox.

One of my roommates listens to dubstep/house/trance.
My other roommate listens to country.
My other roommate listens to rap/hip-hop
I listen to alternative/classic rock.
All of us cant stand almost everyone elses music.
Picking music on roadtrips kinda sucks.

Pretty much this. If it's not the aforementioned friend, it's one that wants to play Bonobo. If not him, it's one that wants to play, blech, Zac Brown Band.
Luckily, most of my road trips are spurred by traveling to see a show, so long trips can be more or less agreeable on tunes.

Hate to say it, but i agree. I even thought "I Need A Doctor" was just above average. This was definitely a case of analysis paralysis, of all the tracks that were recorded and all the work that was put into it, there's no way you can just choose 15 or 16 tracks and be happy with it. I can't wait until he finally just starts to slowly release everything that was considered for it. I'm sure there's a fuckload of amazing work there.

The users of our applications grind my gears. Impossible to please morons for the most part.
Out of the countless examples I could think of, I'll go with two from today.
I'm an app tester (and before that, I worked in our customer service department) so I'll check the marketplace reviews to see if anyone is reporting any issues for me to check into. It's a 4.5 star rated application and our team is beloved by phone and OS manufacturers for how well we do things. I feel like we do pretty well for ourselves.
But the **** I read gets my eye in rage-twitch mode. This one guy for instance...Anthony on his Galaxy S3 is complaining that our UI is clunky and he can't navigate it, even making a point to mention the fact that "I'm not mentally ********" and that "I'm not the only one who feels this way" about the clunkyness of our app's UI. Gives us one star and throws a ***** fit. Yeahhhh...his one star rating is in the middle of a sea of 5 star ratings of people who love everything about our app. Go **** yourself dude, seriously.
The other thing is people with absurdly unrealistic expectations. We get our current conditions information from National Weather Service reporting stations, and those only send in updates once per hour. So, our app updates when those come in. We put the time of the last update right in the app, so if it's 10:30am and the app says it last updated at 9:45am, that is acceptable. There isn't any new information to update with.
But people lose their **** and get pissed about that. NO OTHER WEATHER COMPANY IS ABLE TO UPDATE MORE THAN THAT. That is just when the info is available. But what a lot of other companies do, like the weather channel, is to put the most recent time it CHECKED for an update on there, regardless of whether there was new information or not. So moronic users THINK it's updated more recently when it either didn't, or it was just an estimate.
Sorry, I needed to vent and everyone I work with already knows it.

Look he wants his album to drop at the right phase of music. We are in the dubstep club banger stage. Before we were in the auto tune club banger phase. Really its all about radio play right now and that is all most people care about.
It all matters what the majority of people are listening to and will buy. Its just business smarts of appealing to the masses.
Unless you are Jay-Z, and Kanye then you do whatever you want release an album on the web first before it hits the store.

**** the neighbor, and **** the cops for taking it seriously. While it had its share of downsides too, I'm very glad I grew up in rural area.

That is some serious gear grinding right there. I grew up on military bases, so it's probably different, but I played outside unsupervised all the time. My brother and I explored the woods for hours at a time when he was 10 and I was 8. I rode my bike to school by myself my every day. Even when I lived off of military bases in the suburbs from age 9 on, I still hung out with friends in the woods or park without my parents. People these days are turning their kids into pussies.

Speaking of grammar and spelling mistakes, the guy that sits across from me at work really gets me. He is always asking how to spell things. Just today, he has asked me how to spell exhaustion, discern, & severe. Other words I have spelled for him include neighbor, launch, & olympics. Every time he asks me to spell something, he is in his Outlook Email. Just type how you think it is spelled. If it is wrong, a little red line will appear under the word. Or, type it into Google. If you spell it wrong, it will tell you. No, that's too easy. I'd better annoy Jay instead.

i've had people do that when they think the spell check is wrong. "no, 'of' is not spelled 'uv', no matter how right you think it looks."
