Saw something on the ticker about him setting a Dolphins record for most consecutive games with 100+ yards from scrimmage.

that was some sorry defense by the raiders, but give reggie credit he was running great. it wasnt just the two long ones either, he was churning out consistent gains every time they gave him the ball in the 2nd half.

Ah okay, that makes sense. Ricky Williams is the only consistent/good RB in Miami's history honestly. Larry Csonka is the all-time leading rusher but he always had someone he shared carries with (Mercury Morris and Jim Kiick) so although they all had relatively long Phins careers, they weren't consistently spouting off 100 yard games.

My fantasy football team would like to thank Reggie Bush wholeheartedly for his 31 point performance this week.

Is Reggie Bush turning into a top 5 RB these days? I'm happy for him. One of the greatest college players I have ever seen. Probably the best.

i was real high on reggie last year going to the dolphins, drafted him pretty high in fantasy and he saved my team late in the year. glad to see he appears to have gotten better, especially considering how horrible the dolphins looked in preseason/hard knocks which really didnt show much reggie

He's a free agent next year, in good health and without much tread on his tires he should get yet another huge deal. Would be interesting to see where he goes and how much he gets if he hits the open market.

I hope the Jets pick him up. Shon Greene sucks but he'd make a nice compliment to Reggie.
We need some offensive playmakers in the worst way.

NO STAY AWAY FROM REGGIE!!!!
Sadly, he's the only playmaker on offense we have. Dolphins would be stupid to let him walk in FA but knowing Ireland, they will prob try to low ball him and let him do just that.

At this rate, they have got to re-sign him right? Then again, the problem is he will be hurt before week 8.

I just realized something. He's going to play himself out of his Miami contract this year, and they're going to let him walk because they've got Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller. Pete Carroll has to be fantasizing about putting him in the same backfield as Marshawn Lynch.

he's going to command a lot of money, why would you waste all that money on a second rb?

ive fantasized about the steelers trading with the saints for reggie.
i would think hes going to command a big pay day though, he was making top dollar #2 overall money (6 years 62 million with 25+ guaranteed) and pretty sure hes taken a pay cut once he got traded.

Because he's Reggie Bush?
It's Pete Carroll we're talking about, here. He'd do it just like he did with Bush and LenDale White at USC. We haven't had anyone emerge out of our wideout group yet, so there'd be plenty of opportunities to work him into the passing game as well as the running game. With Russell Wilson developing, it gives him an outlet and also diversifies the offense in the meantime. Think with picks like Bruce Irvin you see they're willing to make moves for specialist players if they think it adds a certain dimension to the team that they want.

Reggie presses too hard and hasn't been as successful when forced to split carries.
He's had a taste of being the man. I can't see him heading to a tandem backfield after how well he's been playing in Miami.

If he continues to have a great season that means his value will be quite high. Some team may have to pay him a hefty contract. That's called buying high. Fans and media will be excited for the team that signs him, but it will be a risk. Reggie will be 28 next year. Hard to tell how many peak years he has left.

I am happy to see Reggie Bush finally finding some success. He was really fun to watch at USC but became really hyped up and labeled a bust way to early in his career by the media.

It's definitely a possibility that he wants to be "The Guy" and carry a team, but like it's been mentioned - he is going to be 28 next year. He'd probably be looking at a contract that is going to pay him most of its money over three or four years. It would probably be a lot in the first year or two, on a basis of yearly salary, but as we're seeing even with guys like Matt Forte, who have more-established reputations as NFL running backs, it really just doesn't mean there's going to be a big payout. So if he decides that he's not just going to see how much he can get, but where he has the best chance of winning a Super Bowl, or perhaps cementing his legacy as not just a great running back but a great multi-purpose NFL threat like we all thought he would be coming out of college, why not get back to his old college coach who has a young, talented team starting to make some noise in the Northwest? Seems pretty plausible.

Reggie Bush is a very good RB. The Saints were the problem.

The Dolphins will tag him if that happens. He'll then likely get a 4-5 year deal with the Dolphins worked out.
