The only thing that annoys me is solving both cases so far via instantaneous epiphany. Does that continue?

It doesn't play as big of a role at the end of s1 or most of s2, but it's still there. They toned it down quite a bit, but his intelligence and recall are still parts of the show.

I read that as 'The Simpsons' and I was about to post a snarky gif.

You always post a snarky gif as you have one in your sig. It's a snark inside a snark.

Just watched Parks and I hate to say it, but I was pretty disappointed. Ron was too over the top, Tom was weird for some reason, the whole episode was just kinda off.
Trager was great though....the raisins "nature's candy" line was amazing. Andy was great too, but I'd really like to see him start police training.

It happens in most sitcoms that go on for an extended number of seasons. At a certain point, many of the stereotypes and character traits that make a character (s) awesome early on get reused and reused to the point where it becomes almost parody. How I Met Your Mother is a great example, and it's happening to a lesser extent on IASIP and Community (good writing and actual character development helps with these ones).

Parks characters coming off more like caricatures is nothing new, to me.

How dare you insult Parks and Rec. You know what you get?

Well, they always were, but Ron especially wasn't doing it for me like he usually does. A lot of his scenes were awkward in a bad way imo.

JGL was a great host of SNL tonight. That was easily one of the better episodes in the last couple seasons.

I'm almost done with S2 of Eureka. S2 has been better than S1 so far for me.

Watched the first half of the BSG miniseries with my roommate last night. Big, big mistake.

I can't believe you got through half of it. I could barely get through a season.

He just wasn't acting like Ron. He was acting like one of those characters off one of those Adult Swim shows. NCIFG: SUV1235 or something like that...Childrens Hospital, etc. There still was a few good moments, like when he said to water down the beer for the kids. That was good ole Ron, but him storming away in his car was just stupid.

Is Homeland really that good? It won a ton of Emmy's (not that they should be taken seriously at this point, but I've heard good word of mouth as well).
