Not this year obviously :P

He had his moments this pre-season. He can make plays, has a phenomenal arm. I think he can be an effective starter behind a decent line and solid running game.

There are some that believe that he is Tom Brady's replacement in 2015 (after both of their contracts expire).

It's going to be hard to believe that Mallett would sign long term in NE if Brady were retained.
