Well that's just a lie. Daniel Craig did a better job of playing Jack Bauer calling himself James Bond, but he definitely didn't do a better job of actually playing James Bond. And I've warmed to the Daniel Craig's movies a lot since I first saw Casino Royale, but he's just not playing James Bond in them. Which is weird because his character in the Layer Cake was a lot closer to James Bond than any of his Bonds.

Episode 2 of Revolution was a step in the right direction, but I'd be totally fine if they killed off the lead role chick. She's so goddamn annoying. Her attractiveness barely redeems her in any way.

James Bond needed change. The same ol' Bond was boring as ****, and some continuity in the first two movies helped seriously recharge the brand.

And this is where we differ. They just needed to find someone capable of re-capturing the balance of charm, campyness, mysogony and badassery that Connery and Moore brought to the role. Someone like Sam Rockwell or RDJ, would've made a fantastic Bond, someone who can not get too serious without going overboard on the cheese either. Hell Daniel Craig himself wouldn't be a bad Bond if they actually gave the character the trademark suave charisma that needs to permeate everything Bond does.

Common Law (which I thought was solid), Necessary Roughness (I didn't watch this season), and Fairly Legal, which was meh.

Suits is a virtual lock for renewal at this point but technically the season isn't over. The remaining six episodes of this season will air in January (which I think we all knew) and then I expect the renewal notice.

Well White Collar wasn't over also. It's coming back in January with Suits. Both had their summer finales.

Huh, you're right. I thought White Collar was over. Weird. USA isn't in the habit of renewing their shows mid season.. so y u no renew Suits USA?!

Suits is produced by NBC Universal, which owns USA, so that is weirder. Anyway, I'd be downright shocked if it wasn't renewed so I'm not too worried about it.

Well, outside of the fact that Moore is the worst Bond, sure.

At worst he's the third best if you liked Jack Bauer, but no he was an indisputeably better Bond than Dalton, Brosnan or Lazenby.

Anyone else going to watch Ben & Kate? It's on now after New Girl. I saw the video they showed at the Upfronts and I laughed my ass off. I have it on pretty good authority (Commie) that it's funny 30sec - 1min in. I'm excited for it.
