I didn't see or hear of it until it was posted just a few posts ago, yanno, in this exact thread. Then you kind of want to look at it in the same way you'd stare at a car crash.

Yeah, and at the end of the day, they get what they want. A rise out of you. I swear i'd take a tire iron to Stephen A Smith's enormous forehead if i ever got the chance.

I was bored as hell flipping through channels and stopped for a second on the segment. I was just curious to know what people thought, wasn't trying to start a fire or anything.

I don't think that the Ravens defense is that good this year. I could see Weeden throwing for 2+ TDs and Richardson running for a buck-fifty or somewhere close to it.
The Ravens will still probably win it in the end, but I would be shocked if they cover that massive point spread.
Pick the Browns ATS in this one for sure.

If you're serious,
per wikipedia: fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio, first designed by Yuko Shimizu. She is portrayed as a female white Japanese bobtail cat with a red bow.[1] The character's first appearance on an item, a vinyl coin purse, was introduced in Japan in 1974 and brought to the United States in 1976.

I think the Browns could put up a fight in this one. I can see the levees breaking at some point and the Ravens run away with it though. I've just seen highlights of Richardson so I'm excited for the game.

Quote:
Lance Easley, the replacement side judge who ruled that Seahawks receiver Golden Tate and Packers defensive back M.D. Jennings simultaneously possessed the final pass of the game on Monday night — handing Seattle an undeserved win — stands by his call.
“It was the correct call,” Easley told TMZ. “I didn’t do anything wrong.”
Unfortunately, in defending the call, Easley seemed to indicate that he still doesn’t understand the NFL’s rules on simultaneous possession.
“You have to not only have the ball but have either two feet or a body part on the ground, and that never happened,” Easley said.
But that’s not what the rules of the NFL say. The rules say, “It is not a simultaneous catch if a player gains control first and an opponent subsequently gains joint control.” So Jennings didn’t need to have possession with either two feet or a body part on the ground. He just needed to have control of the ball first and then possession.
Easley also said he isn’t pleased that he has become the focal point of all the complaints about the officiating in the NFL.
“I don’t appreciate the negative stuff,” he said.

I also love that in saying he was right, he is saying the ref standing next to him was wrong. The poor guy gets the call right and then gets put under a bus by his own team.

If you should be mad at anyone, it should be at Goodell and the owners. Again, if he was a good ref, he wouldn't be a replacement.
And if the Packers don't end up ahead of the Bears and Lions over 1 loss, then they don't deserve it. The Lions have regressed, and they've already shown that they're better than the Bears.

What don't either of these angles show, taken as they were from behind the end zone? The ball. A screengrab of nearly the exact moment captured in the photo shows Jennings, though his feet aren't on the ground, with both hands on the ball, squeezing it to his chest. Tate has both feet down, yes—but he has one hand tangled up with Jennings's arms, his other hand flailing in the air. In other words, the screengrab shows you exactly what's been replayed on TV 10,000 times, and led everyone to comfortably state the refs blew the call.
It's pointless to argue, of course. That's how truthers work. Their "evidence" is only intriguing if you ignore all the other evidence to the contrary.

Or the regular refs for having ridiculous expectations from a part-time job.

Either way I think that at full speed without multiple angles, I could definitely see a regular ref making the same call on the field.
