I'm not a Bama hater. They were my third favorite team growing up behind South Carolina and Ohio State. And up until two years ago, they were still in my top five. It was Bama's fans that turned me off of Bama because they think the invented football. But really, the SEC wasn't any better than the other conference until they started doing shady **** in recruiting (signing 35 players, pulling scholarships at the last second from committed players, forcing kids to grayshirt, and giving players medical scholarships despite them not being seriously injured to make room for better players). It's easy to dominate when you are playing by a different set of rules than everyone else.

Yes, you have figured out the secret to the SEC's dominance. Haha! Either everybody else can start oversigning if they think it's going to help them compete, or just keep complaining about the beat downs they're getting. It matters not to the SEC which they choose.

Lane Kiffin jerked a kid's scholarship less than a month ago to make room for a jailbird. This guy couldn't even hack it in the pressure cooker in the SEC so he bailed.

You might want to educate yourself on the history of college football. The SEC has always dominated, particularly Alabama.

Alabama, yes. SEC, hellz no.

Minnesota has more national championships than anyone else in the SEC. So do three Ivy League teams. So do Michigan, Ohio State, and Nebraska.

It's not like wikipedia is that hard to use. Historically, the Big Ten destroys the SEC.

Other conferences don't do these things because their coaches are complete dicks like Saban. Yeah, and Alabama has always been dominated, that's why they have to claim 6 extra National titles awarded retroactively.

Please do some ******* research before you speak.

and couldnt hack it? He took over a mediocre Tennessee program, and brought in a top 10 recruiting class as soon as he got there. SC was his dream job, so he jumped at it. He didnt bail because he couldnt "hack it".

A lot of teams claim national titles retroactively. Alabama also doesn't claim some that they're recognized for.

The Big-Ten hasn't dominated a damn thing after WWII. Count up the national titles won by the SEC compared the B1G in every decade going back to the 50's.

Here's some advice, don't waste your time on the past 12 years or so..

No they don't. Alabama claims titles in season where they finished ranked 20th in the AP. They claim another over Notre Dame despite losing to Notre Dame in the bowl game. That would be like Florida State claiming a title in 1996 despite losing to Florida because one outlet (the Alderson System) ranked them first.

I only have to go back to the 90's when the Big 12 won 4 titles and the ACC won 3. Or how about the 80s when the SEC didn't win a single national title?

Edit: Sorry, forgot about Georgia in 1980,. So they won one compared to six won by independents.
