Jim has to leave.
And Steve Carell would be crazy not to want to cap off the show with the Michael Scott wedding.

I hope they don't puss-out on the Scranton Strangler. I hope it's someone we've seen before. Even if just in one episode.

I'm still thinking it is Jim Carey.

I hope it's Devon. Creed would feel vindicated.

Noo! This is so freakin' sad. I never want The Office to end. Every single Thursday night at 9:00 I'd sit down and watch this show no matter what. In broadcast we made our own version of The Office that we'd air on our "TGIF" programs. God I'm going to miss this show when it ends... It almost feels like I know all the characters personally.
I just hope they end it well. The perfect ending would be everyone starting to watch the first episode of the "documentary" at Michael's wedding reception.

I'm sad that its ending, but I'd rather it have a solid ending now than just trailing off and getting cancelled. I'm sure they will have some fitting episodes to tie in the past while wrapping up the show. I'd be shocked if Michael didn't show up again.

Hmmm...sounds interesting.
For the last couple episodes, its only fitting to have the last couple episodes center around a Michael and Holly wedding. Would be a good time to do the normal flash backs of the whole show.

I liked the premiere. The show feels like it could be coming full circle a bit if they keep up the Dwight Jr. and New Jim plots.
Nellie was tolerable. Keep her in a smaller role and it's fine.
No idea what to make of Jim's new business venture yet, but it's interesting.
Overall, this episode actually introduced several plots that will have legs for long-term exploration. Sounds good to me. RIP Robert California.

Jim won't leave until the end of the show. They'll probably use this as a storyline throughout the season and then the last episode will be Jim and Pam leaving for Philadelphia.

I really hate what they've done to Dwight (though this isn't a recent development).
It was a total waste to have Dwight not be the father of Angela's baby. That must have been preparation for his spinoff. Can't have that loose end. Lame.
But all of his stunts are just stupid. In the heyday of The Office, they never would have written some stupid stunt like his highwire act with the bike. Ugh.

So has everyone given up on this? I guess it being on the same day as TNF isn't too helpful.

I'm predicting that New Jim is going to go out with Erin (The Receptionist) by the end and something is going to go bad for characters, (Andy maybe), and good for others (maybe Jim, although I feel like this has the make for a big drama where the company Jim starts is going to lose all it's business because at the start it's starting so well already, but then takes a turn for the worst until then they get a big client or something, and Jim also sells him paper) anyway sad to see this awesome show go off just curious on how they take it during these last (20 some episodes left) and is it me or is Andy kind of a D*ck right now?
