Dez Bryant needs to either pay attention or find a spot on the bench. You cannot ignore your QB on hot reads and be an NFL receiver. Completely unacceptable.

Same old Cowboys.

All I know is when they run the passing thru Miles, the team scores more.

And now, they are panicking on D and letting Cutler get in a groove.

GG. We will be going nowhere unless we play mistake free football. Interior offensive line just got blown up and 14 points now for the Chicago defense.

And please don't tell me how great the D is.

They have pinned the Bears down inside the 15 yard line 3 times and all 3 times they let the Bears drive out giving up Field Position.

Dez is having a clunker. That is a terrible drop. Can't even complain about getting hit... the ball went through his hands and hit him in the numbers and then the ground.

Whatever the staff planned on putting on his plate during the week they need to double it. He needs to be better and not let his team down consistently. And on an aside stop making me look bad for drafting him as a WR2 in fantasy football.

Soft in critical points of the game.

Dez is who he is. A talented Alvin Harper.

Miles is Irvin if only the Coaching staff could wake up and smell the coffee.

I just don't get how the WR who makes big plays, scores TD, does not make boneheaded mistakes is constantly undersold.

These officials. No call on Marshall's push offs and then calling us on a pass interference on a TIPPED BALL.

Correct that. TRIPLE Dez's workload this week in practice. Another unforgivable drop.

Well as bad as the scoreboard looks I think there was a lot of good that was hidden between the numbers.

This is by far the best game in terms of pass protection from the O-line, minus Big Mac who is on his last thread imo. Doug Free really had a nice game, so did Tyron with the exception of the Melton sack on the stunt.

The defense looked stout until the game got out of control and they basically opted to send eight on every down. Sean Lee/ Bruce Carter had nice side to side flow throughout the game... Ware got a strip sack and an almost sack where Cutler barely fell over the LOS. Could clearly tell the defense missed Spencer on the outside.. Cutler targeted Butler's man several times in coverage.

The fall of Witten was greatly over stated, he certainly was effective in the pass game and was nice to see the late TD.

Terrible game for the wideouts.... Of the turnovers I only put one on Romo. The first was a hot route the Dez didn't read.... Second was a clear drop by Ogletree... The strip sack/INT was because Mac couldn't even get a hand on Melton.. The 4th Miles should have crossed the defenders face instead of slinking behind the coverage. The last was Romo forcing the ball into coverage with a man over the top. He had a chance if he put it to the outside shoulder but couldn't make the throw. Dez had some drive killing drops that killed the game.

Back to MAC, he is useless. He can not block the speed move and is a constant source of penetration in both the run and pass. Problem is Arkin is useless too, I think they need to give Holland a call and see if he is still in shape.

Man that every team. Every qb has a go to guy, alot was made about romo not going back to guys (bennett, williams) when they made mistakes, so at least give him credit for trying to stick with him. And its not like he was throwing to him in spite of triple coverage. Dez had a lot 1-on-1 so the ball should go his way, just like it did to ogletree in the 1st game.

Bruttttttttttal schedule...prior to the year I had both these losses as wins too. ha. This could turn out to be a pretty rough year. Still too early to tell, but yeah. What an embarrasing game. Looking forward to the bye, so I dont have to watch them next week.

Wit i have to disagree this game has been the same old story, rack up a bunch of yards but no points to show for it, defense not making big plays, and just doing things to lose football games. This game was indicative of the cowboys for the last 6 years (and i hate to quote the that jacka$$$ stephen a smith) but they were just accident waiting to happen

Offense need rhythm. Miles gets you rhythm b/c he does not make mistakes, makes plays and helps you win games. The rest of WR need to be support staff.

Your name says it all when you anoint Mr. High Heels as a hall of famer. When you're defending the "4th int", you know you have an issue.

No offense, because this is my last post in this forum, but you're deluded if you think this QB or this team is anything but mediocre.

On to my last point as a member of this forum. This team under Jerrah, run by Jerrah will never ever be a true contender. We need a real football guy and coach (because JJ will never respect anyone as co-GM who can't coach) and then things may change. Right now we're living off the aging Parcells' years.

I will always be a fan, but enough is enough. We passed 53 times and rushed 14 times. What the f?

Offense needs rhythm. Forget who the WRs are. Build an OL. This is what we've all been clamoring for since I joined this forum. OL OL OL OL OL!!!!!

What do we do? Sign Livings and some dude named Bernadeau and trust in Costa during the draft, only to find out that you need to panic at the start of the season and sign Cook. You gotta expect failure but it's fine to hope for success. Hope that hasn't panned out yet. hah.

Preaching to the choir.

Again, this is Jones fault.

He rather fail with Martellus Bennett, Felix Jones, Dez Bryant et al than succeed with OL and other Fat Dudes that can play.

But still this offense works best when Miles is the go to WR. Period.

so u want romo to throw to the slot wr against a cover-2 when there are linebackers in the middle of the field double teaming from the inside.

Dez had 1 on 1 all night and he AND romo didnt do enough to make the bears pay for it the way they should have.

Move Dez in the slot and Austin outside.

Please that is flimsy thinking.

Austin was awesome as the #1 WR.

Dez is just another moron with talent.

Let Dez take the shots and show some maturity and toughness.

It may be a different league these days but I still believe a team is only as good as they play in the trenches. Until Jerry decides to invest in talent along the line we will continue to see inconsistent play.

Clearly the only flimsly thing is ur knowledge football, they dont have a true proven slot wr so miles plays that position b/c he is the best route runner and he has better understanding of coverage and finds the holes in zones and how to adjust his routes. what dez does best is get vertical. If you put dez in the slot you take away what he does best.

dez had over 100 yards and could have been more, dez just needs to learn from his mistakes he wasnt only making mistakes but seeing how you hate him its easy for you to overlook other guys screws and just focus on dez. Great analysis

LOL!!!!!!!!!

Since Dez has been moved to the #1, this offense has been poor.

When Miles was the #1 .....

You just are blind to results that don't fit your fandom of a player.

Sadly, it is this collective "not Dez's fault" mentality the reason he will never be more than a good 2/3 WR.

Did you hear his presser after the game? He said he would not make excuses and proceeded to make them.

It was too funny.
