The Red Sox are lame. They have a chance to at least try and spoil the Yankees division hopes and force them to play the 1 game WC playoff, and Bobby V trots out that lineup? That's just sad. Feel bad for the O's. Got no chance at the division with Boston just bending over to their hated rival
The AL picture is just brutal. O's or Yanks coming out of the AL would be the ideal scenario(to me). Giants then win the whole thing because Buster Posey rules

Napoli struck out to end the game and end the Angels season. As the A's celebrated on the field, they showed Napoli, with a sheepish grin

What lineup did you want Bobby to play? Also the Red Sox didn't exactly put an A+ effort forward when they got swept by the O's over the weekend.

That's just because the O's were determined to improve their run differential. Had to make sure they finished the year by scoring more runs than they gave up

Trout is kind. He gave the A's and RAngers a month head start. Next year they won't be so lucky

A's are pushing to make every game count. Up 3-1 heading into 8th. Get these next 6 outs and a win tomorrow means the A's with the division.

Tomorrow, the A's and Rangers play for all the marbles. Division is on the line in Oakland.

Stupid Yanks had to win. Wanted the O's and A's to win their divisions. O's can still tie the Yanks tomorrow, then have a 1 game playoff to determine who wins the division. That would rule

I'm just hoping we get the Griffin that pitched in LA and not the one that pitched in Detroit. And hopefully A's get the Dempster that has pitched against LAA the last 2 times.
Let's clinch the division tomorrow!!!

I'm not sure. Wainwright is scheduled, but I bet now that the Cardinals have clinched the 2nd wild card we'll probably see a Bullpen start. Maybe Shelby Miller. I think Matheny goes with Lohse against the Braves and then Waino for game 1 of the NLDS if we win.
