LA, you are just the worst kind of town. Can't believe I was cheering for the Dodgers and now I'll be cheering for the ATL. Bleh.

Oh got ya. I wouldn't wish that on the Mets either. Because that would require them to actually make the playoffs.

2013 draft lacks of dynamic MLB ready players right now. Mark Appel may slip into 1st round compensatory selection. Who knows.
Yankees will have to take this kid.
Stephen Gonsalves, LHP, Cathedral Catholic HS, (CA)
Yet another star for U18 Team USA, the 6’-5” left-hander went 2-0 in Seoul with 12 strikeouts, four walks and a 0.88 ERA over 16 innings. He has a sinking fastball that can touch 94 mph and also adds a mid 70s curveball that is still developing. As a junior, he had a 1.91 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 79 K/20 BB over 66 innings. He led his team to a second straight state title last season by tossing a three-hitter with eight strikeouts in the championship game. High ceiling with a lot of projection due to his frame.

First three batters following Teddy's first victory:
Home run, Double, Double. Nats take the lead.
(that being said I agree with you).

Josh Hamilton may have one At bat left. Unless Rangers come back and tie, he is down. Edwin Encarnacion needs to belt 3 home runs tonight. I think it is safe to say Jose Cabrera wins the triple crown now. Congrats, Jose.

I know this ain't the right thread but no one ever checks the fantasy baseball thread anyway. Do you think it's in bad taste for someone to drop all their SP on the second-to-last day of the season in order to pick up as many RP pitchers as possible? Guy I'm playing in the winner's bracket final just did this and I think its busch league as all hell.

Is there a rule against it? I'd say it seems fine by me. Do people stream starters in your league? Basically, the same thing.

Wow what a collapse by Texas
No team has come back from 5 GB with 9 left to play, but Oakland is about to do it
Hamilton completely tanked this game

Nope, its a game of adjustments. Sounds like he's trying to win. I don't know what you are trying to do if you aren't playing defense against that. Win and secure your categories.

you sure? Dodgers have had some epic collapses, that one year both Arizona and Colorado passed them when they had a 10 game lead or something

There's no rule against it but he did it once he reached his starters limit for this final matchup. I think its super lame and he could theoretically win because of it. He didn't get to this point by doing that, if I were GM I would've locked him out of add/drops when I saw it.
Anyways, Congrats to the Oakland A's!!! What an amazing comeback and that crowd was epic as ****. Them going ham when Grant Balfour came in the game to 'One' by Metallica was incredible.
