Just being realistic. Tamba gives a great pass rush, but he can't do it all by himself every week. And it's hard not be upset when your QB is Matt Cassel.

Both Hali and Flowers are coming back, can't wait to see this elite defense match up against a short Bills offense.

I'm thinking we all got a little too optimistic about the ACL triplets. They all seem one or two steps slow. Granted, Charles just looked like he was sick in this last game. Berry seems top lack explosion and Moeaki has been flat.

A new day has dawned. I agree with something nepg wrote.
Hopefully Berry will get his confidence in his leg back as more time progresses since his injury, but he has not looked like the same player thus far.

I'm interested in possibly seeing Jeff Allen replace Lilja this week as Lilja's back is giving him problems. Hate to see injuries, but this is probably the most humane way to get Allen on the line.
Lilja has been an obvious problem so far this year. I was really hoping last year was a fluke, but I guess age/wear and tear have caught up to him. I like him as a backup, though. Should be able to get healthy enough to fill in for a spot if needed.

Yeah losing Hudson will hurt I think. He was playing some good football. At least we know he is the future at C for this team, so that is one less thing to worry about.

I will say I thought Lilja at C & Allen at LG did very well there after the Hudson injury

Romeo said that Lilja was going to be our C and Allen was going to be our LG going forward. The two guys we just signed (Hochstein and Mattison) are depth only.

Yeah apparently he looked good too. The injury looked a lot worse than it was I guess.. because it looked pretty damn bad.

DMX is going to be our Wes Welker this year, such as we have one.
We are looking as healthy for the Charger game as I have seen us in a while. The spread is only a point, but we are laying it.

Jeez. At that point you just want the guy to quit while he can still function. Poor guy.

Too bad I liked how he was making plays, he really opened up the seams and the middle of the field. Perhaps we should add TE to the Chiefs Christmas draft wish list. I like Moeaki but it would be a mistake to rely on Mr. Brittle Bones.

Yeah. This sucks and is why I wanted Kyle Rudolph last year. I have liked what Maneri has shown, though. I'd like to see them use him more in the passing game because he actually gets open and his hands seems pretty decent. Moeaki's just been trash this year.

Is there any chance the Chiefs would consider moving to a 4-3 assuming they blow up the team at the end of the year? The defensive line would look something like this:
Houston - Bailey - Poe - Hali
The reason I ask is because Glenn Dorsey is a free agent and Tyson Jackson's not going to see that $14.7 million.

I kind of hate that DLine to be honest with you, and Houston is suited better as an OLB anyway. And we know Tamba is a beast in that scheme.
I don't think it's very likely at all.
If the team is blown up that means RAC is gone, and I think they will look at someone with experience in the 3-4 when deciding on a suitable HC and DC as replacements.

If RAC is gone, they could bring in a 4-3 coach, but it'd have to be a Marvin Lewis or John Fox type of defense to make use of Houston (who is 100% OLB).

If RAC is gone Mike Zimmer is at the top of my wish list for new HC
