They want to release the standalone this year.. and it's already October. I do think they're working on that and nothing else and tbh, for the good of the mod, they should.

I'm a little more interested in The War Z because I like the graphics slightly more than Day Z, and I like the different gun mods you can acquire. They're also releasing new maps every month or whatever, so it'll be neat to trek through New York, Paris, etc.

Yeah, although I wasn't a very big fan of how the mods were used. It was a blatant rip off of Crysis, and I was never a huge Crysis fan.

They released a bunch of new DayZ maps lately even though YOU ALL DON'T PLAY ANYMORE!!

I've only played Lingor so far but they've released Takistan, Fallujah, Utes, and some others. Can't wait til the standalone but the private hives are the **** right now. Been having a lot of fun but it would be great to team up with some of you guys.

See... I just don't know if I want to spend money on the game right now.

I would hope to get in the beta before I decide to buy or not.

Yeah, I'm not sure either. I mean, it's only 30 dollars which isn't bad and they have a cheaper version too but I'm just not 100% sold on it yet.

Cain, you are more than welcome to use my beta access when I prepurchase it. We'll get together on gtalk or something and I'll pass off the info to you so you can try it out before you buy it.

That goes for anyone else (that I know) who wants to give it a shot. Not everyone, but I know Cain really well so I trust him.

I do too. I was thinking about subbing back up. I downloaded it and I've been playing different characters to 15 for free just to see if I was still interested in it.. and I am. Trying to decide now actually.

The game was alright but it was all of us playing together that really was the best part. I miss Huttball with my Jugg and Nerv's Sorc... We dominated. I think we had a string of 5 games where neither of us died. Now I don't even talk to Nerv anymore.

Tank assassin in huttball with a pocket healer. Never lose. Took forever for my server to try to imitate me. All of the tankasins were such on gearing dps. I carried both sets for different situations.

I played a tank spec'd Assassin and my real life friend played a heal specced Sorc.

I might be interested in playing again, but I'll probably just wait until its free to play to be honest.

If I played again I'd probably roll Republic just to mix it up.
