Brook can't rebound and defends like crap.
I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere....although I guess watching him play is sort of already one.

Going from terrible to good is an odd transition (as a Celtics fan I know). On one hand its awesome and exciting to win a lot and be in contention...but at the same time its so much more stressful. Part of me misses the days when the wins were glorious, the losses were expected, everyone ragged on the awful players, and NBA draft build up was just as, if not more exciting than the playoffs. But at the same time, its pretty awesome to be good.

Well, we can joke about how much of a giant waste of money Brook Lopez is. He's gonna be putting up 14/7 on this new team, and he's getting paid bank.

If Durant could bulk up to the point where he could hold his own against 4s that would be ridiculous. Could honestly just be that its easier for him to bulk up as he gets a bit older. He just turned 24, so it wouldn't be unusual if he's just filling out with age.

I'm interested to see how MarShon develops with that Nets squad. They need him to be a spark off the bench and he has the potential to be Harden-like for them.

What's with the Nets hype? Williams is a beast. Other than him Johson is on the decline, Wallace is on the decline, Kris is alright, and Loopz sucks

I've been trying to figure that out since the day they required those people.

Let's not go overboard. Lopez is probably the most offensively skilled center in the league. He's just not very balanced all around.
plus, he looks like a goof.

I think you're exaggerating. He's good offensively scoring wise but I wouldn't say he's the most offensive skilled center. Plus everything else sucks enough to cancel it out.

Bynum is the most offensively skilled center, and I dont think Lopez is close.

I think we all just need to come to the realization that there will never be a rational Brook Lopez discussion on here.

Idk but I would never pay a guy that kind of money when he can't rebound and can't defend.

I wouldn't either, he doesn't suck though. He's an above average center.

Put a tough guy next to him and he'll look a lot better. Like Dirk, you mask his bitchassness with a tough defender/rebounder playing next to him. Its not ideal, but it can work.

Dirk isn't a *****. He is definitely a finesse player though. He moves pretty well, but he just isn't that strong.
Nets have a lot of talent though.....Deron is a beast, the JJ hate has gone wayyy too far, Crash is on the decline, but still good when healty, Hump is a good energy guy/rebounder, and Lopez is, overall, one of the better centers in the league. It's a nice starting 5. The bench has a ton of question marks (Blatche, Childress, Teltovic), but they have talent and Brooks (scoring) and Reggie Evans (boarding) should do what they do.

Brook Lopez is not the most offensively skilled center in the league. Not even close.
Also, lol at Dirk being a *****. He's sitting pretty at home with a big ass ring on his finger while the Knicks still suck dick.

Bynum>>>>> Bropez
even if you only want look at his only redeeming skill which is offense.

Andrew Bynum, Demarcus Cousins, Al Jefferson, Marc Gasol. I'd put him in the Al Horford, Roy Hibbert range.

Dirk is a finesse player. Finesse players are soft. Just because he got a ring doesn't change any of that.
Just proves you guys don't know **** about basketball.
