Had to happen eventually. Nice job by Watt getting a hand on that ball.

Looks like Tony Romo passed the MNF bad luck bug onto Sanchez.
On another note, Watt is a swat machine.

You had to know that drive was not ending with 7 points for the Jets.

If you are going to throw junk short about 75% time, that's bound to happen esp. with a guy like JJ Watt.

So that was the only play you saw tonight? They've thrown 20+ yards downfield about 5 or 6 times already.

Of course. I figured we would at least get a damn FG.

The Jets have saved 8 points on pure effort tonight. Bell on the long Foster run and Kerley/Powell right there.
But if they don't come out and score on the opening drive, the floodgates will open. The Jets defensive front can't keep getting lucky.

Oh boy, lisfranc injury for Cedric Benson. That's bad news. He's out eight weeks or more.
I told you guys that Alex Green would be starting by the end of the season!

Please tell me you don't see Sanchez making a short throw on his first read atleast a dozen times. Look his WRs are horrible and cant separate at all but they have been been doing that way too often.

fwiw, cro really wasn't playing the sidelines on the td he gave up. unless the left hash = sidelines. and from the top down, that was entirely his blown coverage.

He's taken a bunch of shots downfield. I think he's playing pretty well aside from holding on too long on a few, especially considering his receivers and no running game...

He should be, but there's a lot of speculation that he's in the doghouse. The rumors are that he doesn't have great work ethic.
My guess is that they'll play whoever is better in pass protection.

And now Mangold is down. Quite the injury bug if he's next.
Someone find that article about Tebow healing injured players.

That was cover three and Cromartie had deep third. Not his assignment at all.

This just has to be brutal to watch for anyone that still likes the Jets.

right... that's why he was the only one there and following daniels. because no one else was covering deep. nope, cro should've just headed out to cover dirt to avoid getting juked by a te.
it's probably also why he was playing on the hash mark. because he doesn't know what 1/3 is.

The safety left his assignment because he bit on the playfake. Cro is taught to read QB first, receiver second, saw the whip underneath which froze him, then speed turned to the post to not cover grass. The safety wasn't there because he went run.
In C3 the corner does not have deep middle responsibility at all. In fact, that route ended up in Wilson's zone. Just a great playfake really.
