We're not getting crushed. It's going to be a hard fought game and I can see either team winning.

But because it's oakland that kinda makes me think it's more likely to happen, nobody, including the raiders and falcons players is expecting that outcome, which seems to sound just like a perfect chance for Oakland to start accumulating enough wins to get them out of franchise QB territory in the draft.
As for the Giants/9ers game, I somehow have no anxiety, I'm not saying the giants are going to dominate, but unless all of our injured players can't play, I just can't help but seeing the giants coming away with the W, even if it takes until the last drive of the game. Although the easy with which we stomped cleveland after spotting them a 17-7 lead, makes me a little less confident than I would've been had we only won by a 4th quarter TD.

While I appreciate the optimism, I don't expect Oakland's crap secondary to even slightly slow down Jones and White.

Sanchez is the devil and Tebow was sent to New York to cleanse all his wrongdoings. Proof:
@bruce_arthur: After the 666th MNF, Mark Sanchez has 6 TDs, 6 INTs, is averaging 6.6 yards per attempt, has a QB rating of 66.6, and wears No. 6? Oh, Lord.
@SalSports: And to add to that @Bruce_arthur tweet ... Sanchez's longest pass so far this season: 66 yards. #Weird #CantMakeThisStuffUp

Sanchez is going to hurt himself before their next game and Tebow will take over to lead the team to the playoffs.

Redskins set to sign Kai Forbath and cut Billy Cundiff. Forbath beat out Josh Brown and Olindo Mare in tryout.

TO could run block for Tebow, Ochocinco, less so.

Chad is more than capable of lingering around down the field to throw to after Tebow completes his spin moves.

Kind of hard when you only average 25 attempts per game. He's young and has done fairly well under the circumstances, which is mediocre receivers and conservative playcalling. Having said that, Matt Flynn should be starting.

I hope for Sanchez's sake that the Jets don't find any good receivers. Once they realize he still sucks with other receivers, he's going to get axed, and I like to see NFL players get paid.

It could happen. My point is that if it *does* happen, then the 49ers will have sent a huge message to the NFC: "The path to the Super Bowl runs through us this year."
Anyway, this is probably going to be the best defense Eli will play against in the regular season.

Why wish a terrible fate for Barkley or Bray or Smith to be a Jet with a FO that shows zero faith in a QB and an clueless owner who wants headlines over winning.
Nobody will succeed on the Jets in this situation.

Seattle is going to be an interesting challenge this week for NE. They are an exceptional defense (#1 in total defense, T2 in points D) but Bill Belichick is 10-3 against rookie QBs and generally has an easy time making them look really really bad.
Seattle has an elite home field advantage (even if their teams are typically mediocre, so their record may not reflect it as well as some might think). Great, loud fans. I really hope next weeks game against the Jets doesn't cause this to be a trap game.

Nah, this is exactly the type of game the giants win after lackluster performances the last two weeks.

We'll see.
I think that Harbaugh has his team worked up to a fever pitch and has them motivated to completely annihilate the Giants as payback for that NFCCG that the 49ers probably deserved to win last year.
This is the kind of "statement" game that a coach like Harbaugh wants to just completely dominate to set a tone for the rest of the season: "Last year was just a stepping stone. This year it's our season."
This could be the start of something really special for the 49ers. Kind of like the 1981 season was for the beginning of the Bill Walsh era 49ers dynasty.

I believe he made all his FG's in preseason, including a couple 50 yarders.

Typical Giants. Watch us look like world beaters vs the 49ers but then play a team like the Raiders and lose by 28.
That's just the Giant way.

No game in October is a "statement" game. Remember we beat the G-Men last year in the regular season. Didn't mean much in when the it mattered the most. I want to win every game but a win or a loss on Sunday wont define our season. Too much football left for that. What I do want is to be playing our best ball heading into the post-season. And we're a long ways away from the post-season.

Next week we've got the Redskins at home before going to Dallas, how much you wanna bet we go 2-1 with the lose coming home to Wash?
