I would not say it was sub par. I think it is one of the better movies that has come out this year. I do agree with you on the second half being weaker than the first. Time to annoy you all again and repeat that The Master is in every way a better film and I am disappointed by all of you who have not seen it.

If you're going into Taken 2 expecting Citizen Kane, you're probably not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. Take it for what it is, mindless action and cheesy writing. And it's a damn fun watch.

This, I love citizen kane, Aronofsky is my favorite current director, but there's some movies that are just going to be dumb fun. That's why Shoot Em Up was the best action film of hte past decade and why Taken 1 was incredible.
