the ohl really just implemented a 10 fight rule per season? jesus christ. **** off david branch. if i had a gun and three bullets and i had osama bin laden, saddam, and david branch in front of me, i would shoot david branch three times.
preseason games up until sept 30th were officially cancelled. that means no frozen fury, that means i can't go to vegas and watch my kings beat njxs avs all while being super drunk.
Being from Erie I hope this is true, I haven't followed them since I went to grad school 2 years ago what are their prospects looking like.
McGee mentioned McDavid who is a stud and will probably e going 1st overall in 3 years. Connor brown just got named captain and he was a lone bright spot last season. They picked up Swedish goalie Oscar Dansk this summer as well who went to Columbus in the 2nd round this year who is also a stud. There's no doubt they'll be better this season and I'd try and catch some games over the next few years if only to see McDavid.
Pelech, Fox and Harper are all solid too.

This lockout is killing me. I feel like the Wild have something special brewing. Obviously, the additions of Parise and Suter are great, but this is the best I have seen a Minnesota team put together young talent (on paper) so far. Granlund, Brodin, Coyle, Dumba, Larsson, Hackett, Zucker, Bulmer, and Phillips all have legitimate NHL futures with the top 4 on that list being top, top prospects.
I know all AHL teams are probably looking better than they should, but my goodness, Rochester looks filthy.
Yeah, as much as it sucks that the NHL is shelved, the AHL should be entertaining during the lockout. Lots of budding talent in the league right now. Adam, Girgensons, and Hodgson down the middle in Rochester, right? Eberle, Nuge, Paajarvi, and Schultz in OKC is unfair. Same with Couts and Schenn for Philadelphia’s affiliate. Henrique and Larsson for the Devils, too. Quite interested to see how Johansen fares in Springfield. He’s a prized piece moving forward for Columbus. Hoping to see some development in his game. More aggressiveness with the puck and more grit in particular.
Oh, and Kreider for the Whale. I won’t argue with getting to see that glorious man a few times on the cheap.
**** this lockout seriously. I despise players and owners right now that are making us miss this great sport. **** them.
Couldn't agree more. The worst part is, I know I'll be back when the lockout finishes. I just sincerely hope that they come to their senses soon and we don't miss the whole season.
If they lockout for the whole season I'm not going back to see the Habs for a very long time. Stop ******* taking us for idiots NHL and give us our hockey back.
