I was shocked how badly Erick Silva got dominated by Jon Finch.

Finch basically beat him like Silva was his kid or something.

Eh, Fitch* dominated the third because of his crazy cardio, Silva was just completely gassed out. He was getting the better of the stand up in the first and half of the second, but once Silva ran out of juice, Fitch mauled him with his pillow hands.

It'd be fun to watch for sure but I'm not sure Lyoto could knock him out unless he lands one of sick knees. Probably tag the **** out of him though standing up since I don't think Chael could take Lyoto down too easily.

Nah man, Lyoto's dropped a lot stronger and tougher fighters than Chael, n I don't think Chael would be able to get him to the ground at all, meaning it would just be Lyoto tagging Chael until he drops.

At the end of the day, the UFC is a business as well. While i get why he would be upset, it's not Chael's fault other guys don't build anticipation as well as he does.

Sonnen really has no business even close to a title shot at LHW, he's an excellent MW because he's strong for that class and can get guys to the ground, at the top of LHW he's not taking Bones down, he's not taking Lyoto down, he's not taking Shogun down, and on their feet he's getting KTFO by any of them.

But I agree. I think he can take Shogun down at some point though, Shogun's TDD isn't all that great.

If Shogun is out of shape and doesn't knock him the **** out first, then he could take him down at some point, but in a hypothetical Shogun/Sonnen bout I'm putting money on Shogun knocking Chael out before the the first take down.

EDIT: I actually kinda like Chael, he's a great entertainer and if not for Anderson he could be a champion MW, but at LHW he's just not a contender as a fighter. I get why he gets the fights he does cause he's a great entertainer and all sports are just entertainment, but he doesn't stand a chance at the top of LHW.

Which I get cause he's a great entertainer as I mention in my edit, but as a fighter, he's a MW contender for Anderson to pick off.

Im probably not going to watch much more, but Spong against that dude was a little embarrassing to me. An out of shape, crappy boxer posed no challenge. I would have rather seen the president get in there and fight him. He has said that he would consider fighting in the league and mentioned that he wouldnt mind fighting spong. Not saying that even that is a great matchup or that the conflict of interest for sefo wouldnt bother me, but better than that guy bartlett.

yeah he was a can but its his first mma fight he needs to at least get his name out to casual fans. Have seen youtube highights of Rumble at 205 but will stick around to watch it and the Arlovski Cole fight.

yeah ive been watching cause i got nothing better to do. Im stuck up in my sisters shoebox of an apartment in boston because i havent had power since monday. Watching a stream i found and just glad to be warm and not in the dark.
