Well, I thought they said there weren't any. Didn't know the game was still going on and close.

Ohio is the last undefeated non-AQ team. Of course, they have a ridiculously weak schedule and not much dominance, with a Week 1 win in Happy Valley being the lone highlight. They'll probably be ranked in the next poll, though.

BATON ROUGE, La. - Locker room material from newspapers and websites is often forgotten about by the time a football game kicks off. But when a threatening comment is made just outside a locker room less than an hour before kickoff, it will resonate and reverberate as loudly as any stadium roar. This is what happened Saturday night on the field at Tiger Stadium just outside the chute that goes to LSU's locker room, according to LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger:
"We're coming for you, 8," a South Carolina player told Mettenberger, who wears No. 8.
"You're not going to make it through the game," South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney said.
"The player was Clowney and a defensive back. They were right out here when I went out to do warm-ups," Mettenberger said while in the LSU locker room, just a few feet from the field. "They definitely had a few choice words to say to me, but I'm guessing they're looking dumb right now with the loss on their record. Obviously, it didn't work out for them too well."

Athens Ohio will be the most fun place in America on Saturdays if this team stays ranked. Easily the craziest place I have ever partied in my entire life. Students there are just insane. WVU might burn couches, but anyone who has never been to one of OUs fests in the spring is desperately missing out.

Most people on this board are from the East Coast and Big Ten country, they don't care about A&M.
I do, but I went there.

Yeah, Athens is awesome. Crazy beautiful campus, too.

Manziel is awesome - a real exciting player. He is better than Denard Robinson yet gets no national attention. It's a real shame too. Luckily he is only a freshman.

Art Kaufman worked his magic on that Texas Tech D in his first season as the DC. From one of the worst D's in the Big 12, to holding WVU to 14 points.

Nope, I just felt like having Manti in my sig space. Hard not to root for him this year (until they play us).

Yeah they stacked the box on us. Still a good fantasy pick for you overall though.

As long as ND keeps winning and he keeps on making a huge impact as he has been he should be in consideration for the Heisman. So sick of system QBs winning it the past few years - it would be great to see an LB somehow get the heisman. I know its a long shot but he does have the whole Notre Dame thing going for him as well.

He's not even the best linebacker in the country, let alone the best defensive player.

Who is better? He is making a huge impact every week and his team is undefeated. He is a big reason why.

Jarvis Jones is better, that's who. Te'o doesn't make nearly the amount of splash plays required for a defensive player to win the Heisman. You can make the argument that Te'o isn't even Notre Dame's best defensive player.

I agree, but like somebody else said...I don't think he's the best defender in the country. He has an argument for best LB, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are others that deserve that title at the end of the year. Manti is playing good, but it's not Ndamukong level of domination. It's a crime he didn't win it his senior year.
My heisman list at the moment...
1. Collin Klein
2. Braxton Miller
3. Dri Archer
4. Geno Smith
5. Manti T'eo
